The rules are very simple. For all visitors and members alike, this guild is open to any and all individuals of any race, religion, gender, sexuality, etc and is meant to be a safe and friendly environment for all users to chat and share ideas, advice, and anything else of interest, so remember to keep any negative remarks to yourself. Harassment of any guild members or visitors will not be tolerated. Any and all offensive, derogatory, discriminative or vulgar users will be banned and reported immediately after their offense. Also, please keep in mind that this guild will most likely contain mature subject matter and adult themes including in depth discussions about but not limited to religion, culture, and sexuality. If you think you are too young or will be offended by such materials, please refrain from entering further into the guild. Coarse language will be acceptable as long as it is not being used as a means to harass or offend any members or visitors. Role playing topics are also allowed as long as said role play adheres to the above rules and is not being used for any crude or sexual satisfactions by users; cybering is NOT allowed.

EDIT (By Fujin): A rule that really came out to me that Max posted here.
As members of the guild, you should be posting in here.. as that is the reason you joined in the first place. So all members are required to have at least a 10 min. post count to stay in the guild. As of December 5th, 2007 all members that do not meet the requirement right now have 2 weeks to get their post count up or you will be banned from guild. You may joined again if you want to actually be in this guild. after that you have 1 week to post 10 times in this guild.
That goes for all members who are accepted to the guild after December 5th. You have 1 WEEK to post.

btw.. you should mention something about spam as more people join they may make spam threads that we will have to put up with.
Or make a sub forum for spamming (i.e. bumping and pointless chatter)

Here's another rule I thought was pretty valid:

Guild threads must have a purpose and promote (moderately intelligent) discussion or conversation. so we don't see any "random," "goodnight," "I'm new," or "@yourname" (ones directed at other members, you can PM them if you want their attention) type of threads.

(so any threads that don't really promote conversation)

just updated the rules on the 1st post so that members will read it.
Figured having the 10 min post count was an important rule to keeping this guild active.
