My full name is Zen Rozarin but I prefer that people call me 'Zero'.
Zen - a school in Buddhism notable for its practice in experiential knowledge rather than theoretical knowledge. Thus, Zen practices the 'empty' way of thinking, wherein one appreciates the simpler things in life rather than rationalize it.
Rozarin - derived from the Latin word 'rosario' which means 'rosary'.
All in all, the name Zen Rozarin translates into "empty rosary" or "simple rosary"
Zero - the nickname Zero is produced by combining the first two letters in my first and last names, ZEn ROzarin. Also, it's the number of times I've failed a mission, and the number of times I've gone back on my word.

Mzimaru Umi:
Mizu- The Japanese reading for "water"
Maru- A common sufix used after boys' names
Umi- The Japanese reading for "ocean"
So I guess his full name translates to "Boy of Water from the Ocean"
The Umi Clan is composed of mages who specialize in the many forms of water. The heir to the clan, Mizumaru was named for the water that the mages control. The clan's title "Umi" was adopted because of where they live, which is naturally on the ocean. The name was created by the first to colonise the island. They formed a small mage gang which they called the "Ocean Clan". Over many generations of multi-cultural visitors, many from Japan, Ocean gradually became Umi and the clan has long since expanded. The clan also learned many new spells, which they quickly mastered and made their own.

Stephen->(from Greek-Stephanos) means Crown, so it can be said to mean royalty. :3
Vespasien (XD he wont let you find that one out)( French, he's part french, means West. (fitting?)
Clearwater-->XD Guess it would be based on the place the person lived near. Just speculation, I have no idea...I just like it :3 In my name dictionary it means Purity
So alltogether.. Royal West Purity? Pure West Royalty? West Royalty Pure? XD
xxx
My name's actually Steffon, I just picked a correct form of it for my character. (my parents cant spell xP) So it still means Crown..and you're not getting my middle name. shame.
I picked it for my character since...Western mages are supposed to know Western Magic. But...my character seems to be the only mage actually from the west xD, guess I could count Boyd.

Tell me about it, parents sure do fuss a lot about giving a name for their children. I mean, I don't hate 'em or anything, heck I love my parents, but what's gets me shot off is their choice in names. Heck, since we're on the subject of giving out our real names, here's mine...
Benjamin - derived from the classic saying, "bring in the benjamins" meaning to bring in success or money.
Gertudo - I just recently found out that "Gertudo" is a guy name for "Gertrude". I mean, who in their right mind would name their male child "Gertrude"?
Vasquez - dunno what it means...
All in all, it makes up my user name bengervasquez

IT WAS A DAMN SPELLING WORD IN FIRST GRADE!!! crying and evryone makes fun of it everyone stare There's nothing wrong with being a tall girl; to be honest, I think it isn't so bad. Heck, I wish I was 3 inches taller but my genes say otherwise... crying Also, you don't have to be ashamed of your last name no matter how bad it sounds. I mean, it's much better than having "Gertudo" as a part for a name, right? I was teased by my classmates for quite a while for having that name...well, that is until our team won a championship soccer game because I blocked a shot during the last five seconds of the game.
