New Year's Eve Ball Ideas In this sticky, guild members may post about what kind of formal ball and theme they would like. Everyone is encouraged to dress up, dance, and have fun.

Why not have everyone dress up like a character from their fandom? Or as close as they can get with gaia items/their budget.

Chaos_Silk Why not have everyone dress up like a character from their fandom? Or as close as they can get with gaia items/their budget. I'm planning on using an avatar edit, but using Tek Tek is just as good. I was also wondering what kind of theme you guys want. Under the stars, in Venice, etc.

^^ That would work better, makes all items accessible to everyone. So if it looks like a cluttered mess... or doesn't look good, it's either their fault or gaia's items.
Themes? *debates*
What about... *tries to think of something everyone in the guild would enjoy* bringing the character you write with the most as a date? That would be terribly amusing. As long as you made sure no one had the same date.

That would be cool. But the character you want to bring as a date can only be claimed once.
If anyone wants, I can share someone of my favorite avatar edit stores.

Why not start a claim list somewhere in the guild? Or here? That way you'll be prepared ahead of time and everyone would be informed of who has already been claimed.
Avatar Edit stores? I'm good actually, if I need something, I can usually make it myself. ^^ Though it would be nice to see what they have.

We could try having a contest. Like, write about your favorite fandom at a some sort of ball, or something like that. . . Yeah, I'll be snagging Anubis/Shuten Douji from Ronin Warriors/Yoroiden Samurai Troopers if he's not taken. Actually, the contest I was thinking about was that each member post their favorite story aka the one that makes them the most proud, and leave each of the stories to the popular vote. That way, once the prizes are given out, it'll be easier to see who wins.

Ow, erm. Hmm. I got nothing. Uhhh...how about everyone where's an assigned color, and makes costumes using that assigned theme (colors are drawn from a hat or something...). That actually sounds like total crap, but oh well, I tried.
If we do bring dates, I want to Marluxia from Kingdom Hearts. The guy doesn't get enough love, I swear. He's also a smexy flower man. heart

I like the idea of bringing a date from your favorite fandom, and the color idea is very interesting. Once I get more ideas about the dress-up theme, I'll put a poll up and see which one people like the most.

What if we write for a lot of characters? I write for several characters in different series. Written for Ed, Roy, Kai, Rei, Takao/Tyson, Max, Renji, Heero, Duo, Trowa, Quatre, Wufei, and more.
If I can bring someone, it would be... XD Zack/Zax Fair from FFVII.
How about mini-games with simple prizes? Like a small amount of gold or a fic or a drawing?
