RULES
Welcome to Ink Mist, a fan fiction guild. My name is Lorelei Yeager, and I am happy that you have found us. Before you decide to join, please read over the following rules. By joining this guild, I will assume that you have read the rules and agreed to them. Ignorance is not an excuse.
- 1. All of the rules stated in the TOS and User Agreement MUST be followed. I'm not having this guild shut down because someone didn't bother to read them.
2. Each sub-section of the guild has its own set of rules; they must be followed.
3. If you want to post a story in any of the fan fiction sub-sections, then please make sure that the highest rating for your story is PG-13. This guild will accept G and PG stories, but nothing over PG-13.
4. YAOI, Yuri, and Heterosexual stories are allowed. Just make sure that the stories are rated PG-13 and/or the sex part is handled off-scene.
5. If you have a story that is above a G rating, you might want to add a warning in your post.
6. This guild has a Three Strikes You're Out policy. If you cause problems once, the Mods or I will warn you. You do it again, we will warn you a second time, and if you do it a third time, you are out of this guild for good.
7. Plagiarism = immediate banning. This rule is not given three strikes; if we catch you plagiarizing once, you are out for good. End of discussion.
8. Stealing another's fan art, manipulating, and/or claiming it as your own = immediate banning. This rule is not given three strikes; if we catch you once, you are out for good. End of discussion.
9. If you have any ideas about the guild and its policy, please post them in the correct thread in the Main Area. We will see them and discuss them.
10. In the Beta Reader's sub-section of the guild, some members may offer their services. They are free to ask for payment, but you are also free to seek out Beta Readers who are not members and that do not ask for payment.
11. This is not a rule, per se, but if you want to hold a fan fiction contest, then go ahead! You must, however, post your contest in this sub-forum, or here. It is also advisable that you read this sticky before doing any contest.
12. No Flaming! I understand that someone might not like a story, but telling them that they suck, and then not giving any critique as to how they can improve, is not accepted.
13. No homophobic posts or comments; I know that some people might not like YAOI and Yuri, but you must respect them as writers and people. In addition, no flaming Heterosexual stories just because it doesn't have two men or two women having sex.
14. Rules are subject to change.
