Perhaps Enster, in your desire to comment on the forum's lack of activity, you could suggest some other topics that would be more "entertaining." Regardless of how many topics are started, they are only made more interesting by the comments of the members. If there are no comments, it will continue to be dull. So the perhaps your poll should be directed at the participation of the members, not just to offer rude comments.

Well, my intent was not to be rude, but just to keep somewhat active. I really have nothing to add to any current topics, and I just thought I'd post something. boy, you sure know how to make a person feel bad... Oh, uh, alrighty then... sweatdrop

Well, I wish people were more chatty on here but I'm not sure what plant related subjects would draw them out. Urbeth and myself were considering a holiday plant ornament contest but now Gaia itself is doing a holiday contest. So perhaps we will wait until spring. I had considered doing some sort of plant of the week but that is really not a discussion is it.
If anyone does have ideas, go right ahead. That includes you Enster. I didn't mean to lash at you, I have just been out of ideas and the fact that no one seems to have anything to say is bothersome.
I'll keep thinking.

I don't think a plant-of-the-week would be a bad thing, that way some people could find out about some wonderful new plants they didn't already know about! (I'm sure I'd be one of those people.)

Well what plant do yoy want to talk about? I am a certifyed Horticulturelist I studdied in green house management, Hortec, And a wide verity of plants For two years I have a all glass green house attached to my homeIts like 20feet by20 feet, We also have a 20foot by 100 foot Growers green house on the property I could talk about plants all day long.......I guess you could say plants are my life.
