Questars: Path of the Northern Lights. This has been a project that has been mentioned a few times now around Project: Nostalgic Kissu. I'm hoping that everyone was curious about it. I'm hoping that all of you were anxiously awaiting it.
This is, as previously mentioned, a group-involved story similar to that of the Guardians of Neopia. What that means is that we need you, the group, to create the main characters for this.
Included in this presentation is a basic profile for your character. This will most likely be expanded on in the future. We request that, after reviewing this presentation, you think over your character and get a feel for he or she before filling out their profile.
At this point, I expect that you are wondering just what exactly Questars is about. The basic plot of the story is this:

At this point, I expect that you are wondering just what exactly Questars is about. The basic plot of the story is this:
Thousands of years ago, there were two crystals in the Bermuda Triangle, both resting on a stone altar that came up from the ocean. One of these crystals was of Chaos while the other was of Void. They existed for one purpose: to balance each other so that the world would experience neither true Chaos nor true Void.
This undesired fate came about, though, when the greed of one human damned the world. A man found the altar and stole the crystal of Chaos, unleashing the powers. Not understanding what he must do, he fled to what we know as Mexico, hiding the crystal with members of the Mayan civiliation before he died without known reason.
Fearing the power of this stone, the Mayans hid the crystal inside a secret chamber in a temple at Palenque. The crystal has stayed there throughout the centuries, hidden, being held at bay only by the powers of fate. Fate declares that it is not yet time for the world to experience its destruction. The time is growing close, though. Very close.
In the present, a group of explorers from the mysterious company El Corazon began to look into the temple. The owners of El Corazon, twin brothers, were searching for the damned crystal. The first, who had the most control over the company, wished to use the legendary powers of the crystal for good, to bring peace to the world. The second, who desired to control the company, wished to gain the power for his own means. He wanted to use it to cement his power over El Corazon, to spread his rule worldwide!
They somehow managed to come across the chamber, upsetting Fate and awakening the powers of Chaos. The crystal exploded, scattering into several larger pieces that flew to different parts of the earth. Smaller fragments disappeared in small bursts of light, disappearing so that they may activate sources of potential magic in the world.
This is how the story of Questars begins. The large jewels searched out human sources of magic. Once they found them, they transformed their new owners into heroes, for Fate is giving the world a chance to survive.
So that's the plot. I hope it interests everyone. <3

PERSONAL INFORMATION
Full Name: Damien Hyacinth Sinclaire
Nickname(s): Trick Pony
Birthdate: December 23
Home: Montreal, Quebec, Canada
Personality: Damien is a quiet individual who thinks often but prefers to not say much. He's aloof and a bit vain, only interested in that which concerns him. While he doesn't wish for others to be hurt, he isn't above injuring others to get what he desires. He's slightly concerned with justice, but won't always make an effort to make sure that it's achieved.
History: Damien was born to Leopold Albert and Abigail Sabrina Sinclaire a few years after his sister, Aspen Daphne, and a few minutes after his twin brother, Dorian Amaranth. He lives in an old Victorian-style house that has been passed down in the Sinclaire family for many generations. His paternal grandparents, Leonard Gregory and Rebecca Margaret Sinclaire, willed the house to their only child, Leopold. After Leonard passed on to the next great adventure a few years ago, Leopold and his family moved into the house with Rebecca, so that they may help her out in such a large house. His maternal grandparents, Roland Wesley and Rosemarie Georgina Beaumont, live in the city as well, as does Abigail's only sibling, Eloise Winifred Beaumont.
Recently, Dorian died due to having fallen in the St. Lawrence River and having drowned. Damien has been devastated by this loss and desires nothing more than to have his twin back with him. This inspired him to search for a means of achieving as such and ended up leading him to his future as a Questar.
The story of Damien's acquirement of his jewel goes like this. He was searching for a certain book, one he casually refers to as the Dolmen, at an antiques shop when a man attacked the store. He found Damien by the book that he, too, sought and challenged him. Damien, not willing to give the book up, fought as best as he could, becoming badly injured. He laid verbal claim to the book as he struggled to not pass out from the damage his body had sustained. This claim activated the magic within the book, bequeathing the Questar jewel to Damien and ensuring that only he could view the contents of the book. Knowing his defeat, the other man retreated, promising to kill the boy so he could gain ownership of both the jewel and the book.
After this fight, Damien was approached by another male who had a jewel of the same power. It was through him that Damien came to be an employee of sorts of El Corazon. They sponsor his journey for the items spoken of in the Dolmen. He is highly suspicious of the company and fears that they may be an obstacle for his goal.

Appearance: Damien, like his brother, takes after his mother in many senses physically. He has her slim-figure and average stature of 5'8", along with her smooth, pale skin. From his father's side of the family, he gained his striking grey eyes and lush black hair, which falls to his waist in long, delicate waves. He moves with a cat's prowess as his slight build hides a body of great agility and grace. He has the same long legs and long fingers as his sister and brother, all of whom inherited them from their paternal grandmother, Rebecca.

It has black ties around both elbows and a black tie around his upper body in the same style as the one on his neck. His pants are dark grey with purple and black patches. His feet are adorned with black boots that go up to his knees. Their tops are ragged in the same style as his top. They are tied up by dark grey strings that criss-cross up the legs.

Personality: He may appear like your average shonen-hero, but Tatsuo can easily fool you with his gentle nature only to be taken aback but his competitive side and eagerness for adventure and excitement. To the dismay of his fellow Questers, Tatsuo is known to pull pranks on them whenever his on the edge of boredom and tries to occupy his ‘short-attention’ span as much as possible. Despite his easy-looking stature, Tatsuo has a strong heart and will stand up for his views of justice and is willing to sacrifice his own life if it comes to it.
History: Kenneth Tatsuo was born and raised in the Alexander household in the Pacific metropolis of Honolulu, Hawaii to Bryan and Crystalline Alexander. Raised in the household of five children, Tatsuo is the middle child who barely gets noticed, being overshadowed by either his older or younger sibling. Therefore Tatsuo gets the most attention from his grandmother, whom he is very close to.
Despite having not much attention from his parents, he still does his best in everyday life, getting decent grades in school and competing in team sports, primarily Soccer and Basketball but sometimes chills out with tennis and volleyball. In his own time, and financial support by his grandmother, Tatsuo was able to learn and train in a few different styles of martial arts and uses them for his daily exercise routine. He gets along with his siblings sometimes but doesn’t hang out with them as much or with the friends in school. Because frankly, he gets quite bored with daily life; therefore he becomes an occasional prankster when the situation calls for it but knows the limits after getting in trouble a few times when he does gets the attention from his parents. But he still feels unhappy with his daily routine and often turns to the stars in the night sky whenever he can get away from the busy lights and just talks with his grandmother.
During one session with the stars, nearing the eve of his 17th birthday on the month of May, Tatsuo witnessed a weird display of fireworks shooting into the sky and broke out into a meteor shower that was reported to scatter across the Earth. Just as the shower neared to an end a large green shard, the size of a baseball, crash landed nearby. Tatsuo recovered the shard and made a wish that his life was filled with more excitement. And oddly enough, his wish came true on the 7th of July when a gain of thieves with unusual powers dressed in turtle-like clothing invaded Honolulu in search for a Hidden Treasure. Fueled with an ambition to help protect his city, his green shard sizzled with electric energy and transformed Tatsuo into the Questar of Justice and Adventure and took out the thugs single handedly but was stopped by the group’s leader and took off. After the battle, he was confronted by a Latino businessman and gave Tatsuo the task of searching the world of Hidden Treasures that may have been affected by a crystal shard similar to his own. From this day forth, Tatsuo left for the mainland USA, financed by this man and chauffeured by an eager employee to search the world and protect this Earth. Tatsuo has no real ambition, believing that all Hidden Treasures are all equal and must be collect by anyone with a just heart, despite what –insert Alice’s Char- thinks.

Appearance: Tatsuo is 5’ 7” tall at the beginning of the series but slowly progresses to hit 5’ 11” towards the end as commented by his family when they’re visiting Hawaii. Tatsuo’s genetic traits reflect both sides of his family’s backgrounds. With his mother being half Japanese and half Caucasian, he inherited a pair of blue eyes from her who inherited from her mother; whom Tatsuo would inherited his grandmother’s blonde hair. Being a third Japanese, Tatsuo also took her facial expressions which she often comments of how her late father looked like when he was young. From his father’s side of the gene pool, Tatsuo merely takes on his skin color to which looks like a tan if one to set eyes on Tatsuo at a glance. Even though Tatsuo isn’t as buff as his older brother Tyson is, he still inherited some of his father’s physical prowess when it comes to sports but his choices often favor his Asian side of the family, various martial arts and soccer; so Tatsuo keeps himself lean and fit.
