So the main page says what to write in your request form, which I assume means for joining? But I didn't have anything to fill in in order to join (is that because I was invited?). So I suppose I'll write it here.
I originally got into J&H because of the musical, which my school did last year, and shortly after seeing it (twice) I got the CDs of both the Broadway and, um, not-Broadway versions of the musical. I love it. And obsessed much (note username). So I then read the book, and liked that quite a bit as well.

That's pretty much my story. I rented the soundtrack just for the hell of it and found it so wonderful that I watched the Broadway version on YouTube and read the Classic Illustrated version (I can't find the original version in my library so I'm going to read it online).

I feel left out. I've never seen the musical. Quite good, I take it? I got into it not long ago, after seeing snippets of the 1941 film version at a friend's house. The book was much better than any of the (non-musical) films, I think.

You can see the Broadway (but inferior to said CD in other thread) version in said other thread (yes, I am confusing speaking today)
But yes, it's a good musical ^_^ Unfotunatly, it was a flop and they couldn't pay off the investors...
Although technically you can make more money of of a flop than you could with a hit! xd The Producers reference...

Oh yeah? Thanks for the tip!
It just requires some creative accounting.

My Jekyll and Hyde journey began in 6th grade when my older brother found out about it. I fell in love with the music, and I became absolutely obsessed about it. Alas, I have not seen it, even though I know every detail of the plot, and how it should be acted and sang as well. I would watch the version on you tube, but I refuse to watch the David Hasselhoff version. I rented it from the Library once, and barley got through Facade. ninja Oh well, I am trying to get my school to perform it next year though....So I am excited!!!! ninja

Envy! ^_^ Yeah, the Broadway version was NOT as good as the CD... which I love. And there is no good version of Facade on YOuTube! Now that I know how to make videos, though, I am going to make my own. If I ever figure out how to download a track from a CD onto my computer. If I do make it, I shall post the new here! ^_^ I also hope to make a sort of movie with the cd, using InuYasha or some other anime clips... but I do not yet know how to get clips... And i shall invite Egweneskywalkerbaggins - thanks for the tip! smile

Yay! blaugh I feel important. Hmmm... My story... I read a little kid version of Jekyll and Hyde with my family when I was little and loved the story since then. When I was in the 9th grade, I met WhoKilledAsmodean and her brother, who introduced me to the musical. *reminesces about singing confrontation at top of lungs with WhoKilledAsmodean* I also was greatly disappointed by the version with David Hasselhof. When I tried to watch it, I was attempting to get a friend obsessed with Jekyll and Hyde. Alas, the small portion of the movie we watched completely turned her off to the musical. crying
