Name ~ Diogenes Voltaire Nicknames ~ None. Yet. Age ~ 9 Ethnicity ~ Mixed
Height ~ 4 feet, 9 inches Weight ~ 70 lbs. Hair ~ Close cropped, sticking out in all directions, bright, bright straw coloured. Eyes ~ Various bright blues, gray, and gold. LOTSA COLORS! Skin Tone ~ Healthy pale with large amounts of freckles on his face. Build ~ Tall and incredibly gawky.
Appearance ~ Cernunnos has marked Diogenes by giving the boy the ears of a deer (though they’re in the same place normal ears would be, not on top of his head) and horns. At this age, however, the horns aren’t much more than barely visible stumps.
As a carnie, its not surprising that Diogenes has an eccentric taste in clothing. He never goes out without poofy, tannish- yellow shorts that go down to his knees and any kind of brightly colored top (when he leaves the carnival, it’s a combination of tucked in white shirt and a bright, slightly shiny orange vest.) Sometimes you’ll find him with a jacket on, or a beanie, but that’s a rather rare occasion.
Personality ~ Odd as he may look and speak, Diogenes is really just your average hyperactive nine-year old boy. Incredibly inquisitive, he has no trouble talking to people, making friends, throwing fits, and creating general havoc. He’s clever, optimistic, and friendly almost to the point of annoyance. In truth, his emotions are easier read than a book and he hasn’t a single sly bone in his body.
Being raised outside of the city, he talks differently than those born within. (Something very similar to Elizabethan speech, in this case. He replaces ‘you’ and ‘your’ with ‘thee’ and ‘thou’ and has a surprisingly large vocabulary for one so young. He doesn’t speak quite as flowery though.)
Enjoys ~ COLORS! ANIMALS! Having fun.
Powers ~ Augmented physical traits: Self explanatory, 'physical traits' being running, jumping, coordination, etc. [NOT YET ACTIVE]
Tracking: The ability trace a person/thing by tracks left behind (footprints, scent, etc.) with unnatural/extreme precision. [NOT YET ACTIVE]
Affinity towards animals: A connection towards animals (especially canines and birds) that allows him to influence their actions. Additionally, he can also 'communicate' (not true communication, rather, he can somehow sense what they want or how they feel and vice versa.) ACTIVE

Overview ~ A god of the Celtic Pantheon, he is often associated with Herne the Hunter of British Folklore. His name literally translates as "The Horned One". He is the god of the hunt, animals, fertility, and, sometimes, the underworld (because the cycle of hunter and hunted of course intimately revolves around death and life from death.) There is little literary sources on him, most coming from artwork. He is often depicted as a man of various ages, more often than not bearded, with the horns of a stag. He is often cross-legged, and wears or holds a torque (an ornate metal collar or neck ring) and a purse filled with gold. He is more often than not portrayed with a stag and a ram-horned snake.
