Passions Are Your Sword Captain

The old, run down living room. The furniture is made of all wood, and there is a couple of rugs. Termites seemed to have gotten here, and everything is covered in dust. When was the last time someone lived here?

<<"Can't say its as glorious as I'd expected," Lirit commented as she walked into the living room, "But then again, it probably hasn't seen a good dusting from the looks of it, since the stone age." It was odd, she had forgotten how much in disrepair the house was in. She had cleaned the room she claimed for herself when she 'moved in'. But she hadn't really looked at the rest of the house, let alone clean it, she didn't even wanted to clean her own room.

Pleased to meet you, hope you guessed my name... << Moch entered in after Lirit and looked around. "Looks like an average living room... That like you said, needs a dusting badly," Moch said. He walked around lightly, as to not break any floor panels, until he stopped and bent down. "Hey, a fireplace... Didn't expect to see this in a mansion like this... I wonder if they ever used it, the people who used to live here? ...But what's puzzling you? It's the nature of my game.

"I don't know," she said looking at the fireplace, "I've always thought of this place to be one of those grand mansions with fireplaces and kitchen staffs... and grand ballrooms." She looked at the fireplace intently. Who had lived here when this place was in its prime? She couldn't help but ask herself this question.

Pleased to meet you, hope you guessed my name... "The stories I was told make this mansion sound nothing like the real thing... Although it's very dusty and dirty the mansion is a lot more civilized than what I heard. I really do wonder if the stories are false, and if an average guy and his family lived here? Maybe the people in town didn't like him and started making up stories to give him a bad rap. Oh well, if it gets cold we can always use this, which is nice to know I guess." Moch said, standing back up and looking around. "The furniture is very old, but very well crafted it seems... It must be worth a lot today, but I'd think people would wonder where you got it if you would try to sell it... All and all, this place just seems like it was eventually abandon to me." Moch gave in his input as he scoped out the mansion. He had always been interested in history, so he knew the styles of furniture and the worth of some. He always liked inspecting things, but he was never interested in taking them and selling them, only getting to glance at them. ...But what's puzzling you? It's the nature of my game.

"Hmm," she had never thought about the furniture in the house. Not that it would have done her much good, this was really the first time she had her room. "You seem to know a lot of these things." She didn't seem to have a hobby since she came here, maybe now was the time for something, anything could be better than what she was doing right now.

Pleased to meet you, hope you guessed my name... "I kind of like history..." Moch admitted. As he glanced around, not much in the living room caught his eye. It seemed like an average living room for back in this time... Furniture, a rug, and a fireplace. It really made all the tales about it seem null. "I wonder who used to live here?" Moch asked, almost to himself. ...But what's puzzling you? It's the nature of my game.

"I don't know," she answered his question, "Someone who wanted to blend in." she added after a moment. She knew a lot about wanting to blend in, "Its not as easy as it looks, if people were talking, why give the something else to talk about?"

Pleased to meet you, hope you guessed my name... "No matter what you do it seems, someone will either find something new about you or keep using old things until you're broken. Society is vicious..." Moch commented, "And I agree with you, no matter what you do to try to hide from people, someone will always find you, and then everyone will find you..." Moch sympathized. ...But what's puzzling you? It's the nature of my game.

"Yeah...." her voice was soft as she said this as she was deep in thought. Starring at the empty fireplace, she couldn't help but think of the irony fate dealt her. Once a future slayer was forced into conclusion after being bitten by the very scum she vowed to slay, the scum she had become.

Moch didn't say anything else, as he could tell she had something on her mind. So he quietly went back to examining the room. He noticed the people who had lived here seemed to have live a normal life for somewhere of their status and wealth. So why was this place abandoned?

Looking ove the fireplace mantel, "Whats this?" sheasked noticing a strange.. jewelry box it appeared to be. She hadn't noticed it when they entered the room. Perhaps it was insight on De La Vaga, who she had no doubt lived in this place and was a vampire, much like herself. Forced into seclution, then murdered by the pople he only tried to avoid, during the day.

Pleased to meet you, hope you guessed my name... Moch walked over to her and examined the box. "Might be a jewelry box... Or a memento of the person who used to live here. Either way, it'll probably tell us a little bit about who did live here..." Moch said, thinking a bit. ...But what's puzzling you? It's the nature of my game.

"Well then let's find out whats inside," she said looking carefully at the box, "If there is anything."
These people seemed to have a lot of secrets, she wasn'tsurprised though. She wasn't proudo f it, but she bought completely into the stories of De La Vaga, she wished she could buy into the legand of other vampires living here, she could use some company more often.

Pleased to meet you, hope you guessed my name... "Here, let me see it please..." Moch said gently taking the box form her. He carefully opened it as to not damage it, and there laid a diamond brooch. Moch showed it to her, "Do you know what this is by chance?" He asked her. ...But what's puzzling you? It's the nature of my game.
