Well, I came back from my trip about a month early.
So who wants to hear my impression of the working life, since I did work while I was away.

So honestly, I enjoyed working, I mean I enjoyed it more than when I was forced to do something else by the boss, usually I'd go out with three other people and we'd dig holes about 3 feet deep and 18 inches wide, more or less depending on what the plans say, but usually it was that.
After that we'd set wood posts in them that we're about 10 feet tall and 4x4 inches wide.
We'd make sure it's level, then have a cement truck come in and pour into the holes, then we'd level out the floor, and that was pretty much our main task for our job.
But when the boss wanted something else done, he'd have one of us go do it all alone, or with one other person, and I'd hate it.
I liked the normal work I would do, not the extra crap he'd throw at me.

But yeah, it was a fun experience, working is fun, money is just sort of a bonus really.
We'd kid around all day while working, and it beat the hell out of sitting here.

But then I got fired, because this guy named Gary who's been working there forever didn't like me, and he had to work with me twice, and the first time we worked together we had to load up rubble into a dump truck, and I did most of it, then the second time we worked together we were digging up a pipe line to make sure we didn't build over it, and my friend Steven was picking the dirt so it could be shoveled, while me and Gary dug the dirt out, well I would try and dig the dirt out when I got a chance, but it was kinda hard with another person digging it out already, there wasn't enough space for two shovels, so I'd jump in whenever I could. =/

Anyway, after that day, I guess he went and told the boss I wasn't a very hard worker, and the boss took his word and had me fired.
So yeah.
I was a little pissed...But it's good to be back in my hometown with my friends and family.
I got to see a lot of cool places while working, so it was fun.

I set up the foundation for wood pole buildings.
And any other crap that needed done.
I was on the dirt crew...We got all the messy jobs, everyone else either put on the roof and built the walls and stuff or did paper work.

Sounds like hard work, but I haven't really started working yet. At the moment I'm more or less trying to decide where to go... I'm thinking about either studying law and trying into the government (hah, that's my most parent- friendly one), becoming an activist/musician, or going to the Chiapas in Mexico and see what the Zapatistas have there... Who knows, maybe theres somewhere I belong down there. I don't know, but I have a feeling whatever the case, I'm going to be doing a lot of walking.

But anyway, welcome back from the trip, man. ^_^

I'm planning on:
never working lol. Unless its for some radical place or at least some local store and never a chain.
Mainly I'll probably do volunteer work.
And the musician thing too. And then travel all over the world.
