I'm sure that there are parts that you do not like. what are they?

in AC-MOA they had that back weapon that was called a mine layer, they sucked so bad. ill dig the game out and find the part name.

in NX and up. i used to love the machine guns now they are harder to use. no more spar and pray.

I hate Machine guns being used on me, and don't really use them a lot (exept on my Machine Gun Mech). They pretty much instantly tear away your PA no matter how much you have and after that do about 200 a bullet, and your spraying about like... 100 out every minute or so. Thousands upon Thousands of damage in seconds, really. I guess its balanced because thats only if they are like, right in your face, and if they're hitting you continually.

A few parts I hate in General:

Bazookas-Can't aim em for crap.

Chicken Legs-Seriously, who NEEDS to jump THAT much?

Floating Contact Mines-Yeah, I'll def stick those in my shoulders...Lame.

AC2 Bomb Extensions-They'd be cool...IF you gave me a rear view camera!

Crappy starter Missiles-WHOO, ONE! FRIGGEN! LOCK! not.

Solid EO's-EO's are my last ditch weapon after all my other crap runs out, and you don't reload. Pshh, lame.

That's about it I think...
I forgot, shields. 'Nuff Said.

QUAD legs i hate quads cant use those at all glad they have reverse joint legs
MINES who needs them crappy weapons
BAZOOKAS olny useful in tank legs

everything else seems useful to me

hmm as far as parts i dislike
1) the harpy pod system you only get one good multi lock then it sucks
2) the hover leg systems useful on water but not much else the load capacity sucks and no defense
3) the ksw ( and i get alot of $#!t about this one) its too heavy and the fire rate sucks nuff said
4) the reverse joint legs no mobilty at all
5) the fcs from ninebreaker up what happend to a decent lock system
6) flame throwers not enough damage being put out by them theyre useful just not advisible
7) the manual aimed back mounted missle systems seriously if you mess up and move you lose your lock on jeez who is gonna stand still long enough to aim at someone with a single shot missle system
cool the chain guns and only for the above sited reason, other than that it kicks a**
9)the shot guns sure they have a decent hit ratio but i dont get that close to an ac unless i have no choice and i unload with machine guns and inside missle system in that instance
10) the energy blade discharge system who has actually killed let alone hit any opposing ac with that honestly the thing moves so slow you can watch it coming smoke cigerette and step out of the way how about somthing usefull like a energy saber with a decent reach
11)the pike systems they look like sabers but all they do is punch an ac with shortened energy blades and they take so long your opponent has time to step to the side and unload on you before you can react its furiating

you dont like reverse joint legs but there good legs lol

the ksw i agree with you the only time i use it is when i use the tank full of enegy weapons.

chain guns you dont like them either there good if you decide to use an AC with machine gun arms and nothing but chain guns in the back in nexus these babies saved my skin a lot of times against genobee and his second in command.

i agree with you on the rest of the parts though

Reverse Joints are good for certain things, as is everything. They don't have mobility on the ground and not as much as bipeds altogether, but if you make a perma-flight mech and use it from med-long range, they are good mechs. Especially if you make it right.

Correct me if I'm wrong as it's been a while since I ran a RJ legged AC but don't they have some seriously low Energy Consumption? Thats ideal for Energy Weapon/Fight and Flight/Perma-Flights as stated above. Every weapon and every part has a use. Except Howitzers... They never had a use.

lol. But yeah, they do. I have two RJ mechs that can quick boost back and forth eternally, one of them being an energy mech. He can also stay in the air, quick boost, and fire his EN weapons almost forever.

Hmm, I never thought of an energy using perma-flight RJ.

I usually use a tap and go humanoid, so it never crossed my mind, but good point with the energy consumption!

I think I might experimenting with RJ's some, now!
Might just resolve some hate issues with me and RJ Legs. Next Episode. Hovers (Dun Dun Dun!! ) rofl

Hovers can be fun... if by fun you mean that you like to play in water levels with a grenade canon, activate it, and watch your mech sink when it goes into firing stance.

Actually hovers can be hard to use but if you can make a successful Missile Boat out of them or an MG Sprayer they can put up quite a bit of a fight.

lets see here.... I don't like:

manually aimed missles- I already have manually aimed guns thank you very much, I count on missles to be the ones to help find the target if I'm too distracted tryin to dodge huge laser beams.

mines- very useless

reverse jointed legs- normal jointed worked just fine for me with bi ped desighns.

The linear gun weapon arms after Silent Line. During all of SL I was like "Oh my babies!!! You look like crab claws!!!" and then they were dumbed down... That the fact that hover legs break with ease, and the loss of the 60%+ ammo pack completely killed my favorite AC of all time... Now I can only use it in Silent Line.
