House Rules
1
) First and foremost, no Godmodding. Remember, you can only
attempt to effect another player. It is their choice whether or not to allow you to succeed.

) All races and types of characters are allowed. The setting for the Laughing Drow is Gaia. And since pretty much anything can exist on Gaia, anything can exist at the Laughing Drow.

) All levels of RP experience are welcome. Interested in RPing, but never really had a chance to participate? Then come on in and give it a try. A more experienced RPer looking for a fun, casual diversion? Welcome! An experienced RPer looking for a free form RP with limitless character interaction and development possibilites (and who can be patient with newbies)? Come on in! There's a little something for everyone here.

) Be as literate as possible. While this is a casual RP setting, and allowances will be made for lack of experience, you'll find that the greater literacy you display, the more fun you, and everyone else, will have.

) Keep things PG-13. Romance, swearing and fighting are all allowed, just remember to keep things within the TOS.

) Limit OOC chatter as much as possible. I know there will be times when it is necessary, but I've seen good RPs literally smother under the weight of too much OOC. There's a great OOC thread here in the Theatre District if you want to talk OOC about the RP. And of course, there's the rest of the guild for everything else.

) Please do not blow up, disintegrate or burn down the Laughing Drow. Minor structural damage is allowed during fights, but nothing major.

) If I or one of my staff aren't present when you are, feel free to "create" generic waiters/bartenders as temporary NPCs if necessary.

) You do not have to apply to RP here. You are welcome to post a character bio if you wish, but it is not necessary. Simply come up with a character concept, show up and start interacting. If you would like to apply for a staff position, please see the "Staff" post for details.
