This is where you go in the academy to advance in your rank. The ranking system is explained on the guild front page, but let me add this: Those ranks that are considered to be council member ranks may land you an administrator position. (If you want one.) You will be given a test of Star Wars knowledge with a difficulty corresponding to your rank, and how you answer will be taken into account as well as how active you are in the guild. (I will know if you are active, I have no life.)
Rules:
1. You must post a clear, thought out, lucid request to advance in rank here to advance. (In other words, no 733T speak, or you will incur the wrath of my puppy.)
2. You cannot advance in rank twice in fifteen days.
3. You can go down in rank. (If you are inactive for extremely long periods of time without an explanation afterwards or no prior warning.)
4. I realize that this ranking system has been a long time overdue, and some of you deserve high rankings already. For those of you who fit this category, I will PM you with your special circumstances and we can discuss what rank you deserve.
5. This is a forum for business in the guild. Very occasional comments not related to rank are okay, but don't spam or chat here. All the other wonderful chat and game forums are for that. If I feel that you are beginning to get annoying in THIS forum (which doesn't happen much) I will come down on you with a big suspension or a ban. (Don't worry, most of you are probably smart enough not to spout off in the one forum I ask you not to.)

Okay, and from now on, please post what rank you currently are. You, Evan, just came to the academy, and are a youngling, so you are trying to advance to padawan.

Well, I try not to advance people who have been here for only a few days. Try looking about a bit first, learning some stuff. Trust me, I post questions on my advancement quiz that appear in the classes. Just be patient.

Evan, you ARE a padawan, remember? I tested you to become one. As for further ranks, I think the guild needs more material in the classes to be tested on. However, I may still be able to come up with a test for you in a few days.
