There is also an individual asking to borrow high value items and give you low value items to hold until they are done with it....so be very careful!!

I have been informed of a new way hackers are trying to get passwords

they are using links that involve you "logging in again" even though you never actually logged off the site

these are usually linked to free item threads in the chatter box or contest threads in the chatter box



and this is pretty sophisticated.i just recieved this about 5 minutes ago

there is something going on that i'm noticing lately.i dont know if you can be scammed this way,but this is just a warning.i went into rally(i tend to hang there)and this thing comes up,like a friend request,but it says things like"you have been banned"or"i am now in your computer"or"so and so wants to cyber" something like that.i always hit the decline button,so i'm not sure what these do to your account.if anyone has any info on it,please come forward

i have heard that some random friend requests are actually hackers.please do not accept friend requests from people you havent spoken to.

..another thing i'm running across(-sighs-there seems to be so much of them)is people wanting to trade items,now this in itself is not a bad thing,but i had a chick want to trade my pixie for her dark halo.YES i was wary and with good reason.in the trade she started,it wasnt a halo but a VERY cheap black rose band,which kinda looks like a halo.so be careful with your trades.scroll your cursor over the item in the trade to read what it REALLY is...and remember.if it sounds too good to be true..it IS!
