Hey guys! Starting an RP can be tough so here are some pointers to help you get started.

Setting:This is where you embellish upon where you RP is set. It lets everyone get a feel for the area and how their character could fit into the story. For example, if it is another world (not Earth) then let us know what it is like on that world - it's in your head so you are the only one who knows.

Rules:Although all our rules apply, you may want to add your own such as no godmoding, only one element per character, PM me profiles etc.

Character profiles:You may want to give a basic frame for people to fill in about their character, and this can vary from RP to RP. For example, if you are doing an elemental RP you may with to have one of the sections called "Element". Here is a basic profile outline:

Age:
Gender:
Height:
Race:
Home town:
Hair:
Eyes:
Skin:
Occupation:
Personality:
Weapons/skills:
Short history:

You may also want to make a second post just to keep character profiles in so you know where they all are and can refer to them easily.

Story so far:You may want to have a section like this which tells people briefly (perhaps in bullet points) what has happened so far. This allows people to easily join in the middle of an RP. It is always fun to have a new character join the story line.

Introduction:Give an introduction to the immediate scene. This gives other members of the RP a place to start writing. For example, you could write about what you character is doing at that precise moment. This can either be in a new post (if you have gone for having a post for profiles) or at the bottom of the first one.
