This thread seems like a generally good idea. Recommend a movie you think we should watch. Don't pick one just because you think it's cool. The movie you recommend should be way better than your average good movie. It should be one of those incredible and thought provoking experiences that only comes along once every so often.
My first recommendation is O Brother Where Art Thou? This movie is an amazing visual and auditory experience, and is humorous and uplifting at the same time.
Fun fact for literature nerds: It's loosely based on Homer's Odyssey.
Come on, someone else do one.

phantomtuba1 Man you took mine, I have to recommend: Facing the Giants,Its truly insprational and motivating. Yes, Granted its based on the Christian Principals but that doesnt matter cause it teaches that we cant do everything by ourselfs, and no matter how big the trial that we should never give up

Doesn't matter what it's based on as long as it's good without being preachy.
In that vein, I'd recommend Way of the Peaceful Warrior. That was an incredible movie.

oh we cant leave 3oo out. just the intensity and detirmination of the Spartan makes ya wish that you were Spartan yourself. though it kinda stunk when ya find out they were trained never to show emotion, not even to the lady you loved.

Hey, if you liked it, that's all that matters.
But I'll still make fun of you for it.
