Now, I just read through all the threads and so many have said Kuwabara is the straightest man evah, but because I don't have the guts to read anything with Kuwabara x Yusuke (but I don't hate it), the only gay guy couple I see with our kitty lover is Kurama. My interest was perked from a Kurama x Botan (whish I also love) site when they gave examples of who could be potential romantic rivals. Kuwa-chan was among the men. Kuwabara is one of the few who really listen to Kurama and in his own way, Kuwabara is a well mannered gentleman. Kurama is also one of the only people who praise and compliment Kuwa-chan for the things he does. C'mon, even his own sister puts him down on many occasions! And Kuwabara is the only member of the team who Kurama uses an affectionate suffix on: Kuwabara-kun, which I think is adorable, though it may not be meant in they way I'd like it to, it means that Kurama thinks Kuwa-chan is mature to a point.

You know I can honestly see your point here... Really, if Kuwabara in some twisted backwards land, was going to be with a guy, I can only see him being with Kurama... The fact that he is labled as Kurama's best friend by the end of the series actually really stregthens that thought for me. I mean, I can't stand pairing Kuwabara with any guy, I just have to be honest there... but if he were to somehow become gay, I really could see him and Kurama working well together...
Okay, DAMN you Broken Hearted Hiei... you've made me actually want to write a fic like that now ><

*Sniffle* You're so cruel to me sometimes. Lol, I'm just kidding.
I do however think that the only way I could enjoy/write a Kuwabara/Kurama fanfic would be an alternate universe fanfic... Something like a weird high school romance type thing. I know it's cliched and probably been done, but Kuwabara would be the stereotypical jock and Kurama would be a sensetive brain. They would be paired together on some school project and slowly develop feelings for one another...
Oh someone shoot me I am actually contemplating doing this ><
