I'm new here and I'm not sure if this topic has ever been brought up. Apparently, the Naruto series is filling in the 'void' that was left after DBZ pretty much became outdated in other people's eyes (not me, of course). I regularly have heated debates about which DBZ character would defeat which Naruto character. Of course, I'm all for DBZ, but these Narutards are actually thinking that the characters from DBZ will actually have a chance. Oh plz give me a break!
So, what's your take on this? Do you actually think the characters of Naruto will have any chance against that of DBZ? (And plz plz give a valid reason mad )
For me, it's rather hard to tell because Naruto has much more variety of attacks than DBZ, but I'm not sure if it truly matters. A Kamehameha is Kamehameha and a Galick Gun is a Galick Gun. *shrugs*

Here's the way I see it:
Sasuke:Firedragon jutsu!!(Or whatever it's called)
*does a bunch of hand signals*
Piccolo:*gets tired of waiting* Speacial Beam Cannon!!
Sasuke is no more...
For one, with ninjutsu and genjutsu takes too much time because of hand signals. And come on! What's most their attacks compared with Vegeta's Galick Gun or Frieza's death beam. Some of the attacks that the Naruto characters dish out might be able to injure some of the DBZ characters, if they were given the time...but let's be honest what DBZ character, besides Goku, is gonna sit there and let someone take up their time by doing hand signals?
Now if it was just physical combat and taijutsu, then yeah, some of the Naruto characters might win. But, then again in the Dragonball universe, Goku and company are far above normal human compacity. And since the characters of Naruto are normal humans, they would naturally get the snot kicked out of them.
All in all, it is pretty dumb to say a DBZ character versus a Naruto character because they are two completely different shows that take place in two completely different times in two completely different universes.

They both wear bright orange clothes, ninja or not lol (I heard that the same person that voiced Gohan....does Naruto. I'm not sure about that, though confused ) The only person, I think, who would have an inkling of a chance is.....ROCK LEE! That's right...Gaara and Naruto.... Those two and Lee are the mains ones that people think could pwn DBZ. Especially Gaara...looking at the fact that his sand shield comes up automatcially. I just glare at those people who say that....if Lee can get past those darn shields then Vegeta would have no problem. As if that sand cacoon move could crush an actual saiyon. xp Vegeta's too sweet for that ninja You know Naruto, he doesn't like to give up all that easily....he will once Vegeta's through with him rofl  Gaara's like the much darker version of Vegeta....

If we got rid of the insane power that the DBZ characters have and went more to fighting skill it would be a different story.
If it was Naruto vs. Dragonball then they are roughly the same age and I think it would be pretty close fight between the characters.
Who would win?
Kid Goku vs Naruto
King Piccolo vs Gaara
Tien vs Rock Lee
Kame vs 3rd Hokage
Master Roshi vs Kakashi
Obviously the DB characters can fly and have massive ki attacks but they've been training for it and the characters from naruto would be able to learn them pretty easily if they were also taught.
Going back the DBZ I think the saiyans would easily win, the humans would make a good fight and it would be a tight chose between them and Naruto
People said the naruto characters waste time with hand signals but so do DBZ characters for powering up and using there techniques so that was a rubbish reason, how long did it take for Goku to make a spirit bomb plus most of the characters form DBZ are pretty stubborn and would love the chance of a decent fight so they would wait and see what they have to offer.

my take on this, is that the characters from naruto have to many limitations on their power reserves, and he dbz characters have a vast more amount of energy to kick some orange jumpsuit wearin ninja a**!!! twisted

naruto flunked his class what, 3 times?? if u paired him with gohan at the same age, there no doubt thet gohan would own.. end of story. then again, theyre playin on completely different universes.. id have to say that the characters in naruto didnt put forth the effort the z fighters did during the time they were given.

Yeah, DBZ characters do take a little bit to power up, but....there are some moments in DBZ when Goku barely took no time at all powering up to super saijin. We all know that the Spirit Bomb takes forever to create....but Goku would have no reason to even use such a technique unless someone as strong as Frieza or Kid Buu was fighting him. So that reasoning is not completely rubbish. Besides that....Vegeta can fire his poweblast extremely quick (he's the fastest at that...duh twisted ) way faster than Sasuke can even activate his Sharingan rofl umm...idk, maybe Kakashi might win that fight against Master Roshi *shrugs* Still a close fight, though. Simply put, Naruto characters have to use handsignals for almost everything that they do.....and you don't have to power up to blast a few ki blasts at them xp
