This IS NOT talking about crapy, plastic, dollar store weapons. I want to know what you think about either real weapons, wooden weapons [like bokken], and training weapons [such as practice, not cheap (like $40), foam swords. Like the one's that they have at Megacon].
I really do noy want to hear too much about guns, harpoons, and those kind of things [bows and arrows are ok though].
So what do you think about owning weapons, others owning weapons, and fighting someone else in a spar/fight with weapons [mainly that could kill you]? Do you hate weapons or wish that people would only display them? Do you think It's alright to have weapons, but usualy for self defence persposes? Or do you think that weapons are a nesecitly?

Iv thought about it, some people might think its alright to carry them around just for self defence or to kill people. I mainly think that it is fine as long as your oponent gets a beating, either if he was the one who started it or you were, because lets be real, if someone hits you, you are gonna hit back.

Yeah...
Weapons are, in my opinion, a nesecity. Even if you just don't like weapons, you hear about people breaking in houses and killing people. And then on the news I heard that a kid managed to, I think it was kill, a murderer who broke into his house with a sword...
At Chibi-Pa I got a foam practice spear and short sword. Hard as bone yet soft as cushion. I also got a smaller, bokken form of Tesu Zangetsu [Ichigo's bankai.]

It's even got the metal chain on the bottom. Every little detail exept the size. I tryed to hold the real one [Real sword = bigger then me, and I'm 5' 6.5" or so] I couldn't even pick it up with one hand... It's probly the second biggest real sword I'v ever seen in real life.
I want a new sword -Swing my crappy katana- This thing can't cut melted butter... They had Toshiro's sword and I wanted that so badly... Damnded dads...

Well right now that I have in my possession is the reverse blade from Ruroni kenshin and a actually replica of the gunblade from Final Fantasy 8. No it does shoot bullets, but the way you hold the weapon is best I ever felt. I pratice with them some times. And I reeally mean pratice. I mediate, focus all my concetration on it, and get a great feel from my weapons.

I think you guys are crazy lol I can see collecting replica swords from different anime but to buy a sword for self defense is ridiculous in this day and age. Like sure you can kill someone with a sword but to buy one for self defense I think is taking it too far. I love a good sword and when I went to anime north I held a pretty close to actual size replica of Sephiorths sword and i must admit that I felt like with one spin I could take down everyone at the stand lol but to buy it to actually defend myself. I would rather invest in a gun, and I am a Canadian saying that so thats saying a lot lol.
But yeah the blade on that thing was as long, if not longer, then I am tall and I am over six feet tall, sorry Samusen but your Ichi's sword don't stand up to Sephs lol. It was fing massive. two hundred and sixty bucks of pure extacy I am telling you. I felt the power of Sephiroth flow through my body. After holding that sword i knew why Seph is so god damn powerful lol. It was just insane. If you guys get the chance even to hold it I say do it. Its amazing lol

If I was in the samurai time..I would chose katanas duh, but right now, how things are, who is gonna get first at you, a guy with a sword, or a bullet, you might have a chance if the idiot shots everywhere but if he is pointing at you..theres atleast a 1% you wont get seriously hurt lol
