Is the 'Sims2: Pets' expansion worth it? I heard a lot of negative feed back about it.
And what pets can you have? Anything other then dogs and cats?
Cats and Dogs mainly but if you by a bird cage you can get a bird or there is also something called a "Wormrat" which looks like a Guinea Pig.
What negative feed back have you heard? I have now all the expansion packs and now all the stuff packs and I can't find fault with any of it... well maybe I'm not very fond of the fashion stuff pack as the clothes look like things I's NEVER wear. But that's just me.

On the Sims 2 web site on the forums. A lot of people said that it wasn't worth it. That pets didn't bring a lot to the plate and it's annoying to train the animals. And after they are all filled, they are worthless. Also, not a lot of items came with it.
Now, my views on it- doesn't matter if there aren't a lot of items, it's worth training the animals. I also like animals in general- I have a pet in real life.
