i know this all pretty much happened a few months ago but i joined the navy and was suppposed to ship out on the 15th of august... but then it got bumped to september 5th..
i was ok with that and i continued to get ready to go to basic and the day i ship out i find that because i had lasik eye surgery i have to wait ANOTHER 6 months before i can even set a new date to ship off stare

i hate it when things get in your way

what about you guys? things ever just get in your way when you think everything is perfect and just screw you over?

Thats been happening to me constantly lately. Every time it seems like things are getting better they just get worse.

*shrugs* I have a lot of problems and if I start talking about one of them then they all just spill out and then I feel bad about burdening others with all my dozens of issues...so I just try to avoid talking about any of them.

Mm'yeah the Navy's pretty famous (infamous, rather, I suppose) for doing that. I have a ton of friends who joined the Navy after High School and it took some of them a full 2 years to ship out to basic because the Navy is.. well.. disorganized.

it was partly my fault for getting lasik in the first place but still.. they coulduve at least told me that it would set me back >.> ah well.. if i have to wait till age 20 just means a bigger bonus and less situps and pushups for me to do =P

more navy problems.. i got 35 min of sleep last night.. woke up at 3:30 to to to MEPS only to find out that the i had to wait until 2 that afternoon before i could even begin processing.. everytime i went to sleep the MEPS people would wake me up and i didnt get to leave till almost 11:00 pm..
the best part?
nothing really got accomplished.. i signed a few papers.. and found out that i had yet another part of the waiver that needed to be completed *sigh*

not to mention my stepdad is bout to kill me with a increased workout regiment and dog me for 2 weeks straight .... tis very sucky...

nah.. im not the suicidal type =P
its just frustrating is all.. i was supposed to leave in september and well... its not september anymore xP
