A dense, dank, dark region of woods deep in the heart of Ryou Himura's territory... This place is filled with dark mossy trees, huge boulders, and moss covered and decaying carvings of ancient gods and demons.. There are a few clearings here and there, and mana vaults and hot springs are common through this area... There is a dark feeling here, but it can't quite be placed... It feels uncomfortable, yet welcoming at the same time...

"this forest is like a woman filled with a beauty all it's own but in an instant it can turn all it's furry on those whom it feels are unworthy of it's charm..." he is soon gone from sight with no trace of sound or any evidence he had ever been there...
Through out the forest there are trails some over grown, some quite clearly blocked by previous travelers, and still more that are well traveled... most of the trails lead to a massive clearing in the center of the forest where every thing has some how died...the bones of even the tree dwelling creatures can be seen in the dead branches along the edges... it's as if everything died in an instant...
