lovecore Did anyone here see them playing live 8? they were brilliant. thats actually, im ashamed to say, the first time i had heard them. When i was 16! neutral No need to have any shame. When I first heard them when I was younger I hated the band. Then just about a year ago, I was listening to them in the car with my mom because she has the Wall CD. Ever since then, I've loved the band.

you mean the first live 8, I was too young for that. I never disliked pink floyd I always liked many of their songs (money was one of my faves as a child) but I didn't get really into them until I was 13.

I agree. Although I cannot believe that they went to commercials during Comfortably Numb. That pissed me off.

Live 8 was amazing. I'd been waiting for that for about 10 years and it was fantastic; I couldn't help but cry during it. It was wonderful to see them all up onstage together, playing and letting it out, and for a good cause too.
Though, I was miffed when the channels began to talk over the band and their music, and cut them short. Come on, show some respect.

I about flipped out of the couch when I saw them. I was freaking out and visions of "Pink Floyd Reuninion Tour" were flashing hopefully through my head.
And I just loved how they said "And the moment you've all been waiting for- Pink Floyd!" I was like "HA. TAKE THAT YOU CRAPPY NEW BANDS!"... 'cause we all know Pink Floyd is better than any band of today.
