As Luna took a drink from the cool stream in the valley, she saw a red shadow out of the corner of her eye.
Lifting her head, she turned to see what it was.
Not able to tell from across the valley, she moved closer to it.
As she neared it, she realized it was a baby cub sleeping inside a basket.
But why was it all alone?
Where was it's Mama?
She looked around for any sign of one, but didn't see one.
She sniffed around the basket a bit, trying to catch a scent of some sort.
Not recognizing any, she nudged the tiny cubbie very slightly;
she wanted to make sure it was just sleeping and not something else.

((Momijito is acutally Moshimaru's father... and technically she does have a mother... only not there at the moment, and as for the father... he's not too responsible... just... for you to know... ^_^; ))
Moshimaru stirred slightly in her basket as she felt something cold and a little wet, like a nose, press into her side. She looked up a bit warily and yawned loudly displaying two rows of small, but rather sharp teeth. She looked around a little with bleary eyes and grumbled, "Why'd you wake me dad?" But when she caught sight of who had be prodding her she started with fright and in her haste to get out of the basket, she flipped it over, taking herself along with it. The basket over her she peered out from under it at the new stranger.

((hehe, that would be my bad, I read momojito as female, but I'm not good at starting RP's really in the first place. >.< but thanks!)) Luna chuckled softly at the startled cub.
"It's alright, little one, I won't hurt you; I'm sorry for waking you."
She didn't advance forward, however, because she didn't want to scare her anymore than she already had.
"Father, though, huh?
Well that is definetely good news that your not out here all alone!
Where would your father be anyways, little one?
Do you know?"

((Tis ok.... and you're not as bad as you think you are... ^_^ ))
"Father? Where.... hmmm.... well, he is surely where ever he wants to be..." She answered not completely understanding the question. "Papa, never gets lost..." she giggled at some foreign memory, but became somber quickly. She withdrew back into the basket, rustling around a little, before launching the thing off herself and over the side a bit. She shook her self like a dog, and like her fur flat on her chest. She was very peculiar on how she looked at all times.

((Aww thanks! ^^ <3)) Giggling at the nonchalant but upright cub, Luna sat down and watched.
In response to the cubbies answer, she replied confused,
"Oh, I see... so your alone, like this, often?"
Luna had only heard of such things before.
She knew father bears were often unreliable,
but don't the cubs normally stay with their mothers then?
Was a shame the poor cub stayed all alone.. she thought.

"Alone no? No... I'm never truly alone... if I were to call him my daddy would come running. But since I don't particularly need his assistance with anything at the moment, I let him do his stuff..." She continued to wash herself, and rolled over onto her back at one point trying to get to on of her back paws, consiquiently getting dirt on the places she just cleaned. "Oh goodness, this isn't going to work," Mushu grumbled to herself before announcing," I am going to the creek, if you woul like you may accompany me there." She nodded to the other bear and began to padded very lightly to the edge to the trees.

Luna just stared in amazement and confusion at the cub.
She had never heard a cub of its age speak so intelligently.
She thought it's vocabulary may even be higher than hers!
Before she followed the cub to the nearby creek, she cautiously watched the forest around her for the father.
As she walked, a million thoughts flooded her mind.

Moshimaru looked over her shoulder at the other Nokose and sighed, "If you are looking for Papa, he won't be coming. He only comes when I call for him." She nodded to herself and as se turned to look forward again she squeaked happily as the creek came into view, and shot off ahead. When Mushu reached the water she leaped in and swam around a little feeling the dirt wash out of her fur bit by bit.

Luna let out a small sigh of relief and no longer expected the little one's father to come running out of the forest randomly, from then on.
Just before Luna herself had made it to the creek, a red ball of fur passed her on the right, flew into the creek, and swam around in the water happily. Amused at the cub, and already previously been in the water, Luna sat on the edge and just waded her back paws as she watched the cub.
All of a sudden her rudeness hit her;
"Oh my, how very rude of me!
My name is Luna by the way!"
Pausing before she continued,
"and what may yours be, little one?"
