A few people are interested in cooking, and so am I, in fact one of my career choices is to become a pastry chef. Hopefully even go to Scottsdale culinary institute. Here you can put up recipes, talk about your schools culinary program or anything else.
Well i cant help but tell everyone about our schools. We just had our kitchen remodeled completely. We had a really crapy(really really crapy) kitchen, but after being remodeled ours is the best in the entire state of Arizona. Its worth more than a million dollars. Everyone is proud of it.
Ok, i know that everyones probly gonna be put off by this but i have a really good recipe for mayonaise cake. its really good but no one seems to care after they see what its called sweatdrop But the recipe for it and for a boiled cookie recipe is in the posts, not to far down i think, so look at them and try them.

Does anybody have a really good cookie recipe? Or cookie baking tips? I want to try and make the best choclate chip cookies in the universe. heart

no it doesnt, maynaise is make from eggs, oil and something else(cant remember), well cake has all those things in it, so its just substituteing those ingrediants
and it depends on what kind ofcookies you want, do you want, chewy, flat, or puffy? for each you change the ingrediants a little, for example, you use butter for flat since it melts faster
and some realy good cookies is boiled cookies i have a recipe for

ok, sorry for the long wait but this is the maynoaise cake recipe
maynoaise cake
2 c flour 1 c sugar 1.5 t baking soda 1.5 t baking powder 4 T cocoa 1 c water 2 t vanilla
mix plour, sugar, soda, baking powder and ccoa. then add water, mayonaise, and vanilla. mix and bake for 35 minues at 350
Chocolate frosting
1 c ugr .25 c cocoa .25 c butter .25 c milk 2 t vanilla
Boil for 1 minute. Stir until partially cool. Add 2 t vanilla and spread on the cake
and if you wanted....
boiled cookies
2 c sugar .5 c milk .25 lb butter 4 T cocoa 2.5 c quick cooking oats(you may want to double the oats) .5 choped nuts(optional) 2 t vanilla(optional) .5 c peanut butter(optional, but recomnded by me)
cook sugar, milk, butter and cocoa for 1.5 minutes at a full rolling boil. remove from heat. add oats, nuts, vanilla and peanut butter. mix until well blended. spoon onto waxed paper.
*****i reccomend useing like double the oats cause it makes it thicker and a lot better, and if you have a question about either recipe dont hesitate to ask. i personally love both recipes, they have come down through my family and they are really good
