The fall is setting in. The breezes get cooler as the leaves begin to turn their different hues and fall to litter the lawn. This cool night, with a crescent moon, finds Dorian Masters on the rooftop of his own school. He stands just ouside the open window of the observatory. As he stands there, he contemplates the events of a few days earlier. The girl who had wanted so badly to escape this Haven, and to join the Triad. What vexes him is not her brutal punishment, but the reason for her punishment. What reason did she have for wishing to go against her fellow students? What is the reason for her attitude toward her fellow students? He can't help but be bothered by it.

Footsteps could be heard coming up from behind the headmaster. A young woman stepped into the observatory and stopped when she saw a man standing there, not knowing who he really was. 'Must be another student.' "Hey there. Sorry if I intruded on anything. Just curious where this lead. I'll leave if I bothered you." She turned to walk away, not caring if she did interrupt anything or not.

D turns and smiles warmly.
"No, this place is open to students, after all."
He steps back inside the observatory and closes the large window. He turns back to the girl.
"This place is just as much yours as it is mine."

Pruna slowly opened the door of the observator. She had only just finished a book about mechanical engineering from the library to see if it contained any interesting information... It hadn't been a thick book, but it had been fun enough.
"Oh.." Was the only sound that escaped her lips when she entered the place she had thought would be quite empty.
Yet two people were right there in front of her. A young woman and a man... Who she both recognized as a student and the headmaster. It was more crowded than she had expected, but she didn't think she would actually mind it. A conversation with fellow students was never a bother.
She walked in a little slowly, closing the door as silently as she could. She stepped nto the observarory like the other girl had done and walked a little bit forwards.
"I'm not interrupting a private conversation I hope?" She asked, for she had not heard what they had been talking about.

"Not at all. You're welcome to stay. I was merely musing on my own until I was joined by your fellow student here."

Katherin looked at the girl who just came in. She shifted her weight onto her other leg and stood there. 'Great, just what I need, another person to interact with. Well, this ought to be interesting.' She thought to herself and let out a quiet sigh.

Pruna let out a soft sigh of relief.
"Ah.. I'm glad I'm not interrupting." She said with a smile.
Pruna hadn't actually spoken a lot to either D or Katherin a lot before. She really thought it would be interesting. Both people seemed to be considerably nice people. She was quite looking forward to a good conversation with them...
At least... If she could come up with something interesting to talk about.
"So..." She said, intending to start a conversation, yet failing to come up with something useful to say...

Katherin softly mumbled to herself, not meaning for others to hear, "God, if you don't have anything to say then don't open your mouth. I hate people like that." She sighs again, seeming frustrated.

Pruna glanced at Katherin. It wasn't hard to hear the tone of voice the girl was mumbling in. Oh no, it was very clear that this girl was not pleased with Pruna's presence here. She let out a soft, yet somewhat sad sigh.
"Such a nice view.." She said, not intending to become rude in any way, even if Katherin was already being that.
She walked a little away from the others to look at the view better. It really was too bad that Katherin seemed to be less nice than she had thought. Too bad, truly too bad. She'd have no conversation, even if she had looked forward to it. If D would not talk to her and Katherin wanted to stay annoyed and quiet with Pruna around, she was bound to stay quiet as well.... and just do what she had come up here for... watch the view.

Katherin looked over at the two, talking about the view and the moon. What was so great about them anyway!? It's just something that's always there so just get over it. She let out another annoyed sigh and leaned against one of the windows on the other side of the room.

She looked up. "How do you know my name? I never met you before nor have I introduced myself to you. ANd trust me, I would know if I did or not. There aren't that many who I do show such courtesy."

Katherin slipped a little from her position as she stared at him in awe, which is totally a rare sight. "You're the headmaster here!? But you look like you could be my older brother or something! There's no way you could be in charge here!"
