Vampires: The most powerful and abundant race. Winged, fanged creatures that need the blood of other beings to survive. Vampires are usually dark-haired and pale-skinned. Some of them prefer to live in groups, others alone or with one or two companions. They can move objects with their mind.
Contrary to legend, when they bite, the bitten being is not transformed into a Vampire. Vampires can be killed just like every other being; crosses and such things do not work. Garlic has no effect on them. Holy water will not harm them either (though some humans think these things work.) They do have sensitive skin, but they will not die if they are in the sun. They just tend to get sunburned easier than most. Some of them can only feed on blood, and some can also eat other things. Regardless, all Vampires need blood to survive. Animal blood will not sustain them.
Vampires do have reflections. They do breathe, they have blood inside their bodies just like any other being. They are alive.
Wolf Demons (Ookami): The rarest race. Human in appearance, but with fangs, wolf ears, and a wolf tail. Ookami are often shy, but playful, preferring to stick around a few others than alone. They can communicate telepathically to others. These creatures have a distinct dislike of humans.
Cat Demons (Neko): The smartest race. Human in appearance, but with cat ears and a cat tail. Neko are often small, quiet, and shy, and dislike crowds. They can phase through walls that are made of stone or brick.
Fox Demons (Kitsune): The most sly of the races. Human in appearance, but with fox ears and a fox tail. Kitsune are tricky and playful creatures, liking social environments and enjoying being around others. They are able to become invisible for up to 20 seconds at a time.
Humans: They are uncommon but valuable to certain Vampires that prefer human blood over the blood of demons. Most humans are living in groups, away from the other beings, but some are brave enough to come out in the open.
