Alright, now that you've read the rules, lets get down to business. This thread will teach you the guidelines of the guild.
Joining a Role Play -
When joining an RP, read the rules and other mandatory posts before creating your profile. When you join, make sure that you stick to the way stated you should joining, whether that be posting your profile or PMing it to the creator. Make sure you include all of the information requested and stick to the profile skeleton given, if any.
Creating a Role Play -
Ok. Everyone can make their own role plays if they want. It is your responsibility to create the rules for that role play and upkeep it. However, I will intervene as I see fit.
Now, if you'd like to create a role play, post it in the main forum. Please include rules and a definite way for members to join. I do not usually like 'post your profile' role plays, but you may create one if you wish.
What sort of role play is allowed? Any kind, but I do not tolerate role plays that adhere to series, movies, books, or games. These will be deleted, as I find them unoriginal.
Creating a Character -
When you create your character, try to be imaginative and creative. Stick to the profile skeleton and guidelines given, and make sure your profile does not defy the plot line. As with creating a role play, do not take a character from a series, book, movie, or game. Come up with your own idea for a character, don't take someone else's. If I find someone with an unoriginal character (one they didn't make-up on their own), I will delete it.
Subforums and the Like -
While member-created role plays will be posted in the main forum, the major role plays of the guild--the ones with the main focus--will have their own subforum. These role plays may be ones I have created or ones that someone else made that caught my interest. Each subforum is costly, so donations to the guild are much appreciated.
Role plays with subforums will have separate threads for rules, profiles, etc.
Subforums for other purposes (OOC, planning, etc.) may be added as well.
Banners and Advertising -
If there are any artists out there, feel free to suggest and post ideas for banners. Any member is welcome to make one, and I will create a thread in the Planning subforum for posting said banners. Members may advertise for this guild however they wish, as long as the advertisement is ok with the TOS.
