just wondering if anyone else has read them, if you haven't I highly suggest it 3nodding if you have, which ones have you read and what did you think of them?

Not all of them, but I do own a number of them. There's a couple that I just keep missing in the book stores and I can't quite justify their price off of Amazon right now.
I'm particularly fond of Peoples of Middle-earth.

yay ^^ it's alot to get through with all the sidenotes, but it's worth it isnt it? my favorite it the lays of beleriand.

I just started The Unfinished Tales and so far I really like it. How's Lays of Beleriand? I really want to get that one, but they didn't have it at the book store.

I recently bought a complete hard back set of the histories of middle earth and they are insanely expensive, but well worth the investment

Lays of Beleriand is fantastic. It actually has my favorite piece of Tolkien's poetry in Lay of Leithian.
