"Yes we should leave.And that prince will just make trouble, he will get in our way.Akio decided to become his guardian...what a fool" he says smirking "Dont worry the effects will take a moment to fully take before she is shut off." he says rubbing her shoulders lightly.
Itome shivered. "Okay... I trust you." She gave him a smile. "Let's go."

After this point Oika and Itome set out away from the rest of the group. They left hurriedly and traveled to the Human Kingdom. Trying to keep a low profile they decided that they should stay hooded and covered. He kept his wings strapped to his back and she would have to keep her ears covered. The human realm was a primitive foreign place as far as Oika was concerned.

The humans were suspiscious of others that didn't look like them and had long since had a falling out with the rest of the kingdoms. The humans were fiercely proud and needed no incentive to attack outsiders. However if they played thier cards right...Oika and Itome, would be able to get an item that the human kings coveted and hid away. It was a Black Pearl created during times of war by the Humans predecessors. This Pearl could be used as an outside energy source for spells or as a weapon of various types.

The high desert sun burned the already crisp earth. In some area's, brush caught fire and set ablaze plains. Oika and Itmoe walked both garbed in dark black cloaks. The sun rising to its apex beat down on the two travelers like two people sparring each other relentlessly, each wave of heat hammering them further into exhaustion. Oika stops moving suddenly and kneels on the ground sweat dripping from his face.

"Lets rest here for now until the worst of the day is done....then we can continue...it is folly to think we can make it through here during the day...it feels so hot I think the sand is melting to glass." he says stifling a yawn. Placing his hands in the scorching sand he digs around a bit until he finds what he is looking for. Pulling out a small stone he examines it briefly and finds it to be good for what he needs. He begins to roll the stone inbetween his palms and it begins to flatten and strech. He streches the stone out until its circular and about a foot in diameter. He tosses the stone on the sand and it streches to about five feet before it curves up.

The stone suddenly drives straight into the sand. Water begins to gush upward from the place that the rock was and it forms into a cool clear pool. Oika tosses a handful of seeds around the pool and almost instantaneously trees shoot up all around from where the seeds had landed. After a few moments Oika had finished building his Oasis He flops lazily into the cool water grateful he had enough strength to conjure like this still. Akio had indeed become much stronger...much stronger. Which in turn had made Oika just as if not more powerful then Akio. In time Akio will be but a memory....Oika smiles under his rough hood as he relaxes.

"About ten more miles." he says looking at the cool water. "We aren't running....just trying to get there faster..." he says rolling onto his side. Already he was feeling tons better and energized. He smiles lazily and then just jumps into the water which came up to his shoulders. "This was a good idea..." he says moving around in the water.

He sticks his tongue out. "They wont die, or go away, they will just remain bound and unable to regain control." He shrugs lightly. "As far as I know this method hasn't been used in many years because no one has been able to make it stick....see all spells require energy and if that energy is not refreshed after a certain period of time, in our case several years from now, it will merely fade and die out. However yet again this only deals with certain types of magic.With the Pearl the spells power source can be altered so that it draws energy from the pearl which is said to be limitless." he says with a thoughtful look upward. "They wont die, but they will be imprisoned for as long as we live." He lays backwards in the water and floats lazily on his back weighted down slightly by the clothing he still wore.

Oika sputters slightly, as he returns the kiss while attempting to avoid the watery death that could end this entire mission. Moving closer to the shore line to prevent further water inhilation he wraps his arms around her lightly. Feeling that something was bothering her he asks the unspoken question. "Whats on your mind?" he asks rubbing a finger lightly down the side of her face.

"Simple. I or rather Akio has read it or knows of it and the information laid open for me in his subconscious. He is like my own personal little library." He shivers slightly. "The proof is in the libraries of our people's...." he says with a smirk. "This method will not fail." he says with unwavering certainty

"If I said I was I would be a fool and something will happen...however I am sure enough that it is worth the risk." he says with a nodd of his head.

(well....we kinda are the bad guys....and I had a fun plot twist in mind that would eventually reunite us with Matha & Co. ^_^)

Oika smirks "Another Ten miles...we can cover it quicker if we fly...you can still fly right?" he asks her quizzically. Looking out at the endless sea of sand. "We may be in for quite a fight or something boring like that...this after all is the most coveted item in the human kingdom." he says boredly. Getting up slowly dripping from his clothes and little rivulettes running down his face from his hair. "I'm fairly shocked that we haven't hit any snags as of yet."

Oika watches Itome as if in slow motion begin to fight for the surface. He rushes over and grabs her hand and pulls her as hard as he can until he is standing on the waters surface pulling he up more getting her up just enough for her to breathe. "WHAT IS IT?!" he shouts through the strain of pulling her.
