It's been bugging me for a while, how would one pronounce his name?

While we're at it, how do you pronounce any of the barricade boys?
I've always just called him R on the rare occasion I get to talk about Les Miserables in real life.

I say 'Grahn-TAYR' cause i'm cool like that.
Most of them are pretty obvious how you pronounce them. Like...Courfeyrac. And Joly.

I was going to try to figure out the best way to type out pronunciations, however, I found this on the official Les Miserables website page. Yay for a HUGE list of character pronunciations and a button to hear them!

"COR-fay-rack" is how I pronounce it :C My kittycat said so cause he is Marius.

It's kinda like coor-fay-rock.... all there is no long A in french, they are all Ah. And, I realized that my earlier link didn't actually post. sad so... this is a list of pronunciations I found on the official website. smile
There are even little boxes for you to click and it will say them for you. biggrin

I've always said Grantaire sort of "Grahnt-air". Well, those phonetics look really dumb, but I can't put it any other way.

As has been said, the website has all pronounciations. 3nodding It's a shame that a lot of people will still mispronounce the title! sweatdrop (Nobody here, though!)
