(After there encounter with nevan in the catacomps of the church, Ai to keep herself from becoming a slave to the armor that binds to her, hit herself with her own spell in order to be knocked out. Laharl, who is also badly injured due to the unslought of attacks by nevan has dragged her to the underground village omaaru, a hide out for demons)

"Well princess...this was the only place i knew to take you..it isnt much, but i call this city home" *you can smell meat in the air and the sounds of demons gambling and fighting are everywhere* "dispite the look of this place, this isnt a very unsafe place...just unsafe.." *he keeps limbing through town holding ai in his arms till he reaches his house*

"I'm used to traveling to dangerous places. I can't say I'm not a little nervous, but doesn't hurt to put a little faith in demons... or you." Ai grins slightly as Laharl carries her in his arms. (Though it isnt much, Laharl lives in one of the many "Dens" in the industrial part of Omaaru, most of the "Beast demons" find these to be comfortable and better then traditional housing, though dispite what some say they do not lack the normal appliances of a typical house, just instead of being a box shape it is made straight from the earth, just like a den.) "No...i do not ask for payment, lets just get you inside and let you rest for a time"

*Lays ai in his bed and puts his single cover over her* "i just dont feel like it thats all...drop it before i change my mind" *Laharl turns wolf and hops onto the bed with ai and curls up at her feet* "if you get cold tonight, wake me.., i can keep you alil warmer in this form.."

She chuckles a little at her upcoming comment, "So I've noticed, you don't tend to speak your mind a lot and piss a few people off, heheh. It's been a while since any of this has happened to me. Used to get in so much trouble and many battles all the time... Now I just feel like I have no purpose to continue or keep adventuring aside from tearing away at this cursed armor..." She sits up a little and unequips her armor and tosses it on the floor without a care. Ai is only wearing her black jump suit. "...I was prepared to die back there, you know... She won't stop coming after me until she's dead or I die... And now that Adella is on her side... She's going to be a bigger pain in my side... " Ai sighs deeply and looks down. "Laharl... I didn't want to get you involved in this mess... Forgive me for having to be so weak and having you take care of me. Though I don't know your reasons, I suppose I am in debt to you... But I doubt I'll live long enough to repay you..."

*bites your leg* (Stop your stupid whining, if the choice is that simple, she dies or you die, then i think thats a pretty straight forward answer) *looks at you with his golden eyes* (She has to die, easy as that, and if that went on a little longer, i would have ripped her in half, besides even if my crimson wolf doesnt kill her body, it will sure as hell ******** her up)

Ai flinches and squeals as he bites into her leg, "Oww!! What the bloody hell do you think you're doing!?" Ai flicks Laharl's nose with her finger but listens to what he had to say.
"... I suppose so... But I thought she was much more powerful than that... It's as if she didn't try her hardest to destroy you..." She mutters to herself for a second, "I still don't understand why you rescued me..." Ai looks down at the bite mark and watches it bleed and leave a couple of dents on her leg. "...Didn't have to bite me that damn hard..." She glares to herself and and rolls her eyes despite being angry enough to cause a couple of inhuman slaps to send Laharl flying to a wall. "Oww... Now it's staring to sting...Nnngh."
