Lunamaria stretched as she left her desk. It had been one of her more tiring days at work. Due to the battle at Onigoro recently, many reports and meetings had been filed and scheduled, as if to ensure the OR was on good terms with every single person living on the Earth. Thankfully, she did manage to squeeze some time in to investigate all those men who had fallen under the same category as "Daniel Ramires". Ever since Athrun had showed up at one of their meetings, the crew had been hard at work, trying to find out more about Daniel and his connections, which had led to even more government systems. Athrun had been right: it seemed that the OR definitely had something to hide.
"Marika!" Her boss was standing at the door. "Did you schedule the meeting with Ryan Kacher tomorrow? His agent phoned to confirm..."
"Of course, sir." She replied, pushing the rims to her fake glasses up. "And I have already set up the room for you in case they arrive early tomorrow."
"Good..." Her boss gave a sign. "There's just too much going on at the moment. Oh, try to get here early tomorrow, will yeh?"
"Will do!" Luna called as she walked quickly out the door, not wanting to stick around any longer.
Once outside, Luna was quick to take her glasses off and replace them with her shades. After making sure no one else was watching her, she continued up the street, pulling out the papers she had snuck from the office. She couldn't wait to see the others. Daniel had been on a mission recently, as had three other men of the same rank as him, despite them all being much older. "I hate the fact that they never give details." She said with a sigh, glancing up and down the pages she had printed.
Reaching the cafe, she smiled at the waitress. "Five seats as usual", she told her, pointing at the table they usually sat at, out on the patio. After receiving a nod, she walked over and sat down. "Finally, I'm becoming a bit more useful to the group."

The last few days' action had sent the political analysts' office into overdrive. More and more files were being piled onto Shinn's already tedious workload, though with the stress on the department some more juicy tidbits were being sent his way. He carefully memorized documents as he typed them down, having also jacked the system into copying a file into a disk he put in. Daniel Ramires, though, was not mentioned in one. Most of the files were considering possible movements the OR should take towards this battle between ORB and the EA. Many of them, however, were previously dated, suggesting an anticipation of these events happening.
It was suspicious.
"I'll be on my lunch break," he called over to his neighbour, who tacitly nodded. Shoving himself out of his chair, Shinn grabbed his briefcase and left the stuffy building, glad for some fresh air. Placing a hat on his head, he strolled down the street to the café, where Lunamaria was already waiting. At least he wasn't last this time.

Yzak heaved a heavy sigh as he walked pass the gates that surrounded the base. He had spent hours each day trying to find any information about this nation that would help them further along only to have no such luck. Though, he had to admit, things had been a bit more interesting every since they had ran into Athrun that day. Before they were just partaking in a mission by pure faith without any knowledge of what to look for. Now they had a lead that helped define their direction and that lead was by the name of Daniel Ramirez. If they can get to him, then they can get somewhere. Whatever the Representative had in mind for him to do would surely give them some kind of clue as to the real motive behind the Oceanic Republic.
Yzak awaited at the corner of a street as we watched cars drive pass. He could see the coffee shop in the distance. It was beginning to be a habit to meet at this location and he was starting to wonder if they should consider another place to meet at. They needed to remain discrete afterall. As he crosses the street, his features began forming in a scowl. He surely hoped that everyone else had something to report. He on the other hand, didn't have much to give out other than hearing reports about oversees conflicts.
As he approached the cafe, it became more visually clear that Luna and Shin were already there. His eyes widened in shock. Shin is here before me? That was a huge surprise. He sat in his usual seat and eyed each one of them. Of course that still left Dearka and Athrun to show up. Though he really wasn't counting on Athrun to show up considering how mysterious he's been lately. And Yzak still wasn't too keen on considering him as part of the group.
He leaned back in his seat and crossed his arms. He didn't care that not everyone was present. There wasn't much time to wait anyway. He looked from Luna to Shin and back again. "Well?" He demanded.

Luna half smiled at Yzak's bluntness. She looked about, but seeing Dearka and Athrun were nowhere in view, she decided not to wait. "Here something." She said as he got himself comfortable. She pulled out the sheets from the office and passed them over to him. "Daniel Ramires recently went on a mission to the OR borders. Details are classified, and not even my boss has access to them. I asked. He seemed a bit suspicious of my question, but he wasn't able to link it back to me, since I used a different profile to analyse, supposedly for a meeting. Three other men have the same category mission as him, but his is the only one that falls under 'hight priority'." She pointed as she said this.
"Well?" she asked, beaming. "What do you guys think?" She looked mostly at Shinn for this, knowing, hoping anyway, for his approval.

"Judging by the materials I was able to seize, it looks like the OR has anticipated this move from the EA," Shinn said, pulling out his laptop and slipping the disk into it, gesturing for Yzak and Lunamaria to gather on either side of him to block the screen. He watched as data streamed by, stopping it at the important points he had remembered. He wasn't going to bother looking up to see Yzak's reaction.
"Look. This says here: 'Should the Earth Alliance fall into battle with ORB, seize the opportunity to attack ORB.'" Shinn pointed to the screen. "And further down: 'Take all measures to keep the operation unknown. The assassination must be quick.' Everything has been dated long before the attack on Representative Athha."
The raven-haired pseudo-analyst closed the laptop and stored it back into his briefcase.
"In the worst case scenario," he concluded quietly, "this country has been plotting a coup ever since its existence. We have no reason for knowing why, just that this is what they've done. However, I didn't get any information on Daniel Ramires; I think that his information is strictly military and out of my reach."
Sure, he couldn't stand to stay in ORB any more, but that didn't mean he wanted to overthrow it. Shinn shook his head at his own thoughts. Perhaps if he had entered this place two years ago, he might have been persuaded to join in on this insanity.

Luna frowned at this. ORB was always a touchy subject with Shinn. For him to bring it up himself, she knew he had geniune worry for the country.
"Do you think... his mission is to infiltrate ORB?" She asked the others quietly, though thinking to herself that his task may be a lot worse than that.

Dearka sighed as he stood idly beside the entrance. He now knew that being a security officer was probably one of the last jobs he would ever choose. He frowned and a little kid who had passed by flinched. What's with that kid? The child began to cry.
"Mommy, the police guy is scary!"
"No no, Edward, he's just a security officer," his mother cooed. "He's not going to hurt you..."
After the two passed, Dearka sighed again. Now I know why security officers always look so tense and scary... , he thought and looked down at his uniform. Do I really look like a cop? A few minutes later, an old man came up to him.
"Excuse me, young man," he said. "Can you show me the way to the bathroom?"
Bathroom? Bathroom?!, Dearka thought angrily. Why can't you find the bathroom yourself! I'm not a freaking tour guide! But on his exterior, he put on a semi-smile and showed the old man the way.
It wasn't long before Dearka realized that he had totally lost track of time. It was now past the usual time to meet and he quickly raced to the cafe after receiving permission from his so-called "boss". Panting and heaving, he bolted into the cafe and scanned the room. Everyone else was already there.
"Sorry guys, I had to lead this old man to the bathroom," he said nervously, hoping it was a good enough excuse. He sat down at the table and ordered some ice water. "Oh, am I interrupting something important?"

"Are you kidding?" Shinn said sarcastically at Dearka's arrival. "You've only missed the largest development of the century. For an old man and a toilet, no less." He savoured the moment of beating Yzak to an insult, although he expected the silver-haired man to come at Dearka with another soon enough.
"In any case, we should make our decision on this matter soon. Judging by the pace of the past few days, we'll have to do something before the world erupts into chaos." Shinn paused. "Again."

Luna glared at her frowning partner. Turning back to Dearka, she gathered up the papers from Yzak and handed them over for him to look at. "It's okay. I know jobs like that always have hold-ups... Anyway, here's some stuff I found on Ramires, and Shinn's also dug up a bit." She looked him up and down, looking for any odd piece of paper. "Any news from you?"

"Ehh... heheh, not really," Dearka reluctantly said as he picked up his glass of water. Man, this is just great... not only am I really late, but I also have no information either..., he thought as he swore that he had received a malicious glance from both Yzak and Shinn.
"Well, uhh... I'm just a security officer, so I don't have access to all this paperwork stuff you guys have! I just watch people walk by... that's all..." He ducked his head in fear that he may receive a beating from either Yzak or Shinn. But then, I thought of something. "Do any of you have a photo of Daniel Ramires that I can keep for reference? A lot of people pass by everyday, so it's difficult to spot anyone who doesn't look particularly strange."

Luna studied Dearka's face carefully. Too bad.... it didn't seem like he had any information to bring. And they were on a roll...
"This will help," she reassured him, taking out the generic profile of Daniel Ramires and handing it to the blonde-haired man. She glanced at Yzak, but his face was unreadable. Every time she had taken Daniel's picture out, his eyes changed somehow, as if he was trying to recall something important. Shaking her head and what must be her foolish imagination, Luna pulled out her scheduler and glanced down her coming days. "There are going to be five meetings with different companies and directors from ORB in the next few days. This one here looks interesting; from National Securities and they are supposedly meeting with a representative from the OR. I'll see if I can dig up anything on that," she sighed "though... I was hoping Athrun might have brought us more stuff."
Glancing at the street, she caught no sight of the blue-haired wonder. Why...? She wondered to herself.

Shinn had also caught onto Luna's anxiety; she must be looking for Zala - or whatever name he went by now - to pop around the corner and join them. So much for that happening... was what he wanted to think, but they needed him right now, as much as he hated to admit it. They didn't have enough information to go on.
He decided to let Dearka off the hook. After all, it wasn't his fault that he did have a cruddy job for getting information... and whose fault was that? Inwardly, he grumbled at a certain silver-haired man, but he kept his mouth shut. Shinn was convinced that he wasn't that stupid.

Yzak sneered at Dearka when the bad news was presented to them. But he didn't have time to worry over it. It wasn't as if he expected Dearka to just luckily spot the man one day while on his shift. Heck, as far as he know, Daniel probably wasn't even on the mainland. "It's fine Dearka. As far as I know, Athrun had already mentioned to us that this kid has been sent on a mission. It wouldn't be likely for him to have suddenly strolled into the base lately, now would it?"
"Oh, I think it's most likely he would." A voice said from behind.
Yzak spun around. His hand was placed near his hip where his gun was concealed for he was ready to defend in case they were found out. However, his hand quickly rested as he noticed a blue hair of a nuisance. His eyes glared through his silver fringes. "I see you finally decided to show up." He watched as Athrun chose the only empty seat to sit in. They both shared a brief moment where neither one would stray from their stare, but by now it was quite customary. "What did you mean by it is 'most likely he would'?" He said evenly.
Athrun didn't speak at first, only just lowered the shades from his face. At that moment the waitress came over and questioned him about what he would like. He dismissed her asking for nothing. "Shinn, you said that you have found messages in their database discussing Orb invasions?"
"Are you trying to avoid the main point?" Yzak interrupted. He looked to Shinn, warning him not to open his mouth. "Since you were here the whole time, you heard it for yourself. Apparently the OR is planning on attacking Orb."
Athrun's eyes contracted. He folded his hands and squeezed them tightly. His head was lowered as he contemplated the entire ordeal. "The only question is why? Why would this representative want to rage an attack on Orb? Had they been lying to the world when they called themselves a peaceful, neutral country only to lower everyone else's defense?"
Yzak looked in shock. Athrun had a point. Was this country only fooling everyone? And what if Orb wasn't their only target? Could they also be planning on attacking other countries besides Orb. Afterall, if Orb were to go down, so would many other countries who depended on Orb. And maybe they were deciding on turning their devices on the PLANTS. He bit his lip. "Perhaps we need to rethink this."
"There's nothing to rethink." Athrun said evenly. "Have you guys been keeping track of what's happening to Orb? I don't think it's a mere coincidence that the Earth Alliance is considering war with Orb. Don't you agree Shinn?"
