:Setting:
In and around Mya and Valentine's den site.

Valentine looked around at the autumn foliage at the trees near his family's den. He had gone hunting earlier and brought in a wounded buck for his growing clan. He took care in tearing it into pieces and he hid some portions about their territory just in case things get rough over the coming winter. Valentine took one of the choicer pieces to the den entrance for his mate, Mya, to enjoy first.

Jessa remained curled inside of her egg in the safety and warmth of her mother's nest. She chiruped softly.
