I myself have been playing WoW for over a year and a half, ever since my brother in law conned his mom into getting him the special edition when he has a computer that would never in a million years be able to run it. He gave us the extra copy which sat around on hubby's desk for another few months before our friends talked him into loading it up on his computer.
I started playing it, then he had to go out and buy me a bigger hard drive for my compy so he could have his back. rolleyes
I'm on the RP server 'Steamwheedle Cartel'. I started out as Alliance since all I wanted to play were Night Elves, and maybe go Horde when the Blood Elves came out.
Then one day I was bored and clicked the 'create character' button and up popped the most sexiest Troll warrior I'd ever seen. To me he looked just like Ganondorf from OoT and I knew I had to go make a Troll.
And thus Nabooru, Troll shaman extrordinaire, was created. She's my only level 70 character (my Nelf has since been left stagnating at level 61). She is full Restro and good at what she does to the point that when multiple parties are being formed she gets fought over. She is a proud member of the guild 'Shattered Oath', who believe themselves to be sort of like a refuge camp for those who don't fit in well with other guilds. It doesn't preach the "treat everyone like family" rule that other guilds does, since that causes internal problems that couldn't be aired out and leads to contempt with other guild members.
RP-wise she embodies a lot of what I wouldn't do if real life; she's a drunken lush that loves dancing and wears very revealing clothes. For a member of the Horde (and especially for a Troll), she's very kind-hearted, though she has no qualms about killing and eating the flesh of her enemies (Trolls are cannibals, though those of the Horde are supposed to have given it up, she just hasn't kicked the habit yet). She is very strong on honor, very traditional about all there is to the Troll society and culture, enjoys that Orcs and Tauren have the same cultures as her race, is leery of the Forsaken, and really doesn't like the Blood Elves for the way they look down on her and the more 'savage' Horde races.

My friend Mammalfeathers did this picture of her in her Robes of Insight, along with her pet, Mini Diablo.
I think my biggest love of this picture is that nose. I believe it gives her lots of character, she doesn't have a dainty pretty nose that all the beautiful races have, she's got a big Wicked Witch of the West nose that makes her beautiful to her race.
And really, who cares about the Belfs? It's her Troll male she likes looking good for. wink
(if anyone's curious, those're supposed to be the Whirlwind Bracers, I believe they were dropped from the Huntsman in Karazhan)
