Headmaster Anibal Griffith's office reminds most people of something that belonged in a well-to-do Victorian mansion. Dark mahogany furniture upholstered with crushed velvet, matching carpet-crushed walls and hanging chandeliers. Everything was immaculately clean, and every detail expertly coordinated. Magical objects sat on end tables much like an arrangement of flowers would, and bookcases of volumes of magical texts sat behind glass panes against the walls. In fact, the bookcases cascaded up three times the height of any normal man and was aided by redwood ladders that would roll to the desired destination. Like other professors he had the portraits of past professors on the walls, and a stately large dark wood polished to a shine in the center of the room, the right hand side almost completely piled with scrolls. His pet rat was often found to be asleep inside of those scrolls with only his tail sticking out.
Welcome to the Headmaster's Office. Unlike other Headmasters, the office is like any professors, you can drop in any time with any problem or need of password. You will most surly be offered tea or coffee if nothing else. We do have a few rules here, however. You need to keep things in RP! Take OOC requests and questions to the OOC subforum. At all times please be polite and courteous! You can without a doubt come to the professor with problems that will most likely involve others or even professor, but you must maintain a level of respect even for people you dislike.

A small notice was passed around in upperlevel classes. "If you wish to apply for a position as a Prefect this school year please bring an essay to Headmaster Anibal Griffith's office and be ready for an interview"
That's right! Open applications for Prefects (and from that a 7th year boy will be chosen as Head Boy, you can not apply specifically for Head Boy) are now being accepted. RP your character coming into the the office and handing in an "essay." What I really want is an RP sample of your character and how they might "perform" a "prefect-like duty." Please make sure you're not applying to a year/gender combination that's already been taken. You can check that in the RP World Details thread of the main forum.
