Through the cracked oakwood doors leading inside the mansion is the entrance hall. Despite the peeling white paint and the large amount of dust that has settled upon everything, it appears to still be structurally sound. Most of the furniture and furnishings are blanketed in white tarps, including the mirrors. To the left, right and back of the hall are doors leading into different areas of the mansion. The flooring is a dirty and stained red carpet that most residences of this sort had. Where the carpeting isn't, there is gorgeous wooden flooring whose shine and charm is tainted with a thick coat of dust.
In the center of the hall is an elegant double staircase made from crafted from cherrywood and filled with many decorative carvings. At the top of the staircase is a stained glass window depicting a group of people standing around a marvelous shine of light, amazed with it.

Glaucus huddled in the passenger side as the car pulled down a very long road, the first paved thing in over three miles. He shuddered to think of them all now, his friends, And Joseph was gone now. He thought back to that phone conversation with Chris.
Hello?” Glaucus weakly answered the phone, half in shock and half in fear. “Chris... I – we have... a pro-problem...”
“Likewise...” Christopher stated a little glumily. “That's why I was calling. What's going on there?”
“It's raining like hell, I'm out in the rain trying to get everyone packed for the mansion.” He gulped. “Joe seemed like he was fine, but something went wrong and he ran away, as a- a horse! A full fledged equine.”
Knowing the truth behind what happened and wanting to calm down his friend, the wolf man assured him, “...He's fine Glaucus. I just encountered him no more than 15 minutes ago. He was almost a full horse but I helped him... He reverted to an anthropomorphisized form. Only thing is he has decided to go home so I don't know what's going to happen to him from here on out.”
“He... How?” Glaucus asked stunned but soon dropped it. “Well, that's good. But seriously, we need to get to the mansion. Where are you? I can have Boon come pick you up.”
“No... It's fine. I have my own car,” Chris sighed a little. “I was actually calling you to tell you the same thing. ...Also, some really bad news... Erik has gone completely feral.
Glaucus could only remark, “...We waited too long then.”
“Gee, you think?!” Christopher snapped, the comment angering him.
“Look, are you going to bring him or is there no hope?” Glaucus inquired, ignoring his friend's anger.
“...I don't know honestly. For a moment I was able to reach him but then he just went feral again!” cried out Christopher.
“That's not good,” Glaucus added solemnly.
“Look,” Christopher interject, changing the subject. “Just go to the mansion and I'll meet you there, ok?”
“Good idea. The water is making me feel itchy anyhow and that's never a good sign,” Glaucus commented as he scratched his shoulder blade.
“...I'll see you later, ok? Bye.” Christopher hung up abruptly.
He had lost one person he had learned so much from so quickly, now in his ill-wished and rapidly altering form, he was whisked by a stranger to a mansion that he hadn’t a clue what to expect of. Chris’s tone was angering him further, and he knew that Chris was behaving oddly, whether that was his true character or the transformation or the stresses, he didn’t know. The only thing he knew is it was a baroque style and the architect was an Italian or a Spaniard, Boon hadn’t been the most clear when describing it.
The pulled up, and Glaucus thought for a moment he was in Europe. He saw a grand mansion with Corinthian columns, a huge vault an probably cathedral ceilings, largely hide by trees. In the back He could see a cross stick above the tree, there was a chapel here too, a dome to the left- an observatory, and sculptures, countless sculptures in the overgrown foliage leading to it.
“Oh… god” Was all the Fishman could say. The was a formerly cultivated garden, and a river in the back, he could make the muddy banks out through the distorted. Boon stopped, Glaucus got his stuff, and took the Over stylized Key Boon was holding. He grabbed His stuff, and Relana’s and put it on the porch, then went to get Minna’s. He told them all he was going in and motioned for them to follow.
Glaucus pushed open the door of the mansion, and dropped the baggage inside. Wood and tarps where everywhere, Two grand staircases and dust, but the crowning piece was the stained glass behind and above him, darkened now, but in the light it would shine beautifully.
He walked over to a tarp, and tore it off, s the dusty sheet cascaded down, and he saw it was a mirror. Exquisitely carved out of some kind of ebony with mournful angels and emotionless caryatids on the sides. Expecting to see his normal reflection he was horrified when he saw the creature, the spines, the horns, he turned and saw his dorsal fin in the reflection, his longer hair too… he didn’t even feel like Glaucus anymore.
“Well I guess this home.” He said turning to the door.

"Guess so." Minna replied to Glaucus' comment.
The place was much more than she had expected. In her minds eye she had pictured a simple house, two stories perhaps, but not this.
"Looks like we've got a lot of cleaning ahead of us." She mummerd as she removed a trap from a couch and sent a cloud of dust into the air. Coughing and sputtering she brushed the grim from her eyes and began to fold the trap.

Following Glaucus and Minna, Relana entered the mansion in awe. "Ach, it's such a big place..." she trailed off quietly, her voice echoing a bit in the quiet mansion. She looked around in the dusty place, spotting more cobwebs than she could count. Inwardly, she whimpered—she was scared of spiders, and living in a home that was infested with them (or for the time being, anyway) did not make her feel any better than she did now.
She noticed Glaucus staring at himself in the mirror and could only surmise his thoughts. Walking over to him carefully with her feet (which appeared more piscine than human), she put her hand comfortingly on his shoulder. “I think we will be okay,” she sighed lightly. “I’ll still view you as Glaucus, no matter what you look like on the outside.” She glanced at herself in the mirror, still finding her earfins out of place and her gill slits looking strange. No matter how hard she tried to mask her concern, she could see hints of it in herself—the slight furrowing of her eyebrows, the hint of confusion in her eyes, and even the way she held her shoulders.
She turned away from the mirror, walking towards Minna as she folded a tarp. “Does anyone have a broom?” Relana asked aloud, noticing the footprints that trailed across the dusty floor.
