peanut butter is called peanut because a) it's made from peanuts, and b) it's butterey consistency. As too why peanuts are called peanuts and butter is called butter, that takes us way back in history when the first man learned that a differrent variation in the pitch adn tone of a grunt could be used to make sounds. Someone then came along and decided, "hey you know what would be cool? I f we named stuff."

My cousin got hit by a car. He was jogging to school, and he went out in the cross walk. *Demonstrates with hand motions*

Well, in the fourth lane, I guess some one was making a U turn, or a left, and they didn't see him through the other cars, so they turned.
And hit him.

And he went sailing back, and landed in the grass on the side of the road.

Cause you know what he did? He got up and did a lap around the school, then went to his classes...Late.

Oh yeah, and this was some time after he decided that he liked to jump off the roof of his house to practice his landing skills or whatever.
