I know there is a prayer subforum in this guild, but most people dont really think of subforums. Thus, I'm just posting my prayer request here!

My sister, Kimberly, is going to Haiti on a missions trip. Haiti is a dangerous place, so of course there is some concern for her safety. Being scared that you could be held hostage for large amounts of money and then perhaps killed or hurt badly is scarey - and to think, it's all cuz she's from Canada XD But even more scarey than that is refusing to be Christ's hands and feet. She's accnolaging (sp) this and is going to Haitit for God, hoping to make a change there with a group of Haitians, as well as hoping for change for herself.

Kimberly and the group of Haitians are trying to make a mission called "Teh Blessing Hands Mission." They are trying to make it a leagal organization, for which Kimberly would make a trip once a year down there. This is kind of hard, there's she needs to make sure that the organization would meet Canada's standards, as well as the standards of Haiti, for it to be a mission organization.


I'd like for everyone to pray for Kim as she goes for God to Haiti, and that the mission could take off easily.

Prayer is a pillar in a relationship with christ and tunes you in to what he want to say to you(speaking to you). Prayer makes us closer to what he wants us to be(more like him). Its a good thing to do even when your doing radom things its good to pray. 100%
