Lucky Star is a cute anime made by the same people who make "The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya", however its more like Azumanga Daioh. Its about the average lives of 4 high school girls in Japan (of course). The best part is the main character is a complete otaku! But Im rambling. The point was to ask: has anyone seen it?

yes! more Lucky Star fans!
I seem to really like the "slice of life" animes, especially the ones that are a bit wacky. It especially helps with me because the group kind of reminds me of myself and my friends a bit. Plus the jokes are awesome (Konata's loli-con dad is hilarious.) I'm seriously considering re-watching it I enjoyed it so much. Plus it's a good pick-me-up anime due to all the humor.

Mia_and_FtLouie yes! more Lucky Star fans! I seem to really like the "slice of life" animes, especially the ones that are a bit wacky. It especially helps with me because the group kind of reminds me of myself and my friends a bit. Plus the jokes are awesome (Konata's loli-con dad is hilarious.) I'm seriously considering re-watching it I enjoyed it so much. Plus it's a good pick-me-up anime due to all the humor. exactly. Azumanga daioh, School rumble, and lucky star are all hilarious slice of life anime. We could use some more of those types of anime

XD I love this series. It's actually licensed, which I'm not too pleased about... D: oh man, that sucks. I know it's a popular series, but they're going to suck all the Japanese cultural goodness out of it that made it so funny.

I never knew it was made by the same people who made TMoHS! I've seen the parody with TMoHS in it and thats it.
Nevertheless it's a great anime. Humor, Random, just like Azu Manga Diao.

I never knew it was made by the same people who made TMoHS! I've seen the parody with TMoHS in it and thats it.

Konata gave Kagami a cosplay Brigade captain armband for her birthday, and in one episode she even blew off studying to watch the show. And of course, she did cosplay as haruhi and did the hare hare yukai dance.

Yes, and it's one of the best animes ever.. (of the cute and brain cell assassination kind) There are so many anime references in there... That if you were not an anime fan; you wouldn't be able to get half the jokes.
