Insane

Ashes to ashes,
Dust to dust.
To survive, we do what we must.
In times of sorrow,
in times of pain,
darkness holds strong to terrible reins ,
life slowly begins to drain.
Insanity slowly engulfs the sane,
I laugh now and feed the flames,
to loose a life is such a shame,
who now is to blame?
Hide now, embrace the pain,
tommowow we wont be the same.

Subconcious
Light is fading in a once lit room,
a saddend youth jumps to his doom.
A continuous cirlce, a blinding light,
a small girl weeps in fright.
A hooded man cast darknes down,
and steps up to accepts the crown.
In the twilight, their lives they take,
accused witches burn at the stake.
Help me now let me wake,
our ammends, help us make.
Grab my arm and go insane,
dark devotions do we gain.
We're standing in a sea of pain.

Wartorn
Love and hate,
little depiction.
Human emotion,
stranger than fiction.
A bleeding heart, a punctured lung,
the fire burns, like the sun.
A liveing hell, freezing breath,
on the edge, of life and death.
Life for today, pray for tomorow,
but dont live your life in sorrow.

Wave by wave,
tear by tear.
The day of my death is drawing near.
My friends are gone,
my life destroyed.
My spirit steps into the void.
My eyes are tired,
My heart feels numb.
My soul dies with the setting sun.

A quiet room in a quiet house,
an echo to the mind.
If only you let someone in,
imagine what you could find.
A friend, a foe, a lover?
Just put one foot, in front of the other.
Merge in harmony with the world,
forget your troubles, ease your pain.
Once youve lost all, you can only gain.
Extend your heart, and take my hand,
I'll take you to another land.

1.)Slowly I walk, as if in a daze,
memory floods in, as i remember the good days.
I will always remember what I've lost,
they are with me in many ways.
I miss them deeply, and yet i say,
"I'll be back one day"
So head my call, my dearest friends, and look to the skys.
I am here, with all of you, that, is no suprise.
Remember me, my laugh, my smile,
I'll be here, im spirit, all the while.

the sun gives its final breaths.
A whisp of smoke catches the eye,
a flash of flame, streaks the sky.
Trees fall, infants cry,
elders all, look and sigh.
Fire rears its evil head,
and devours all, in its stead.

Two hours notice, a cruel suprise,
everything you love, vanishes before your eyes.
Your true love is gone,
after one last kiss.
Life is failing, a darkening abyss.
You step on the bus, she starts to cry,
no one knows what in the future lies.
Hour after hour, road after road,
this chapter of your life, must temporarily close.

Paranoia

The voices are calling , the people stare,
this world is getting harder to bear,
why dont they stop looking,
what do they say,
i want this all to go away.
Memory is Reality.
Life is Death.
My heart is beating, but i have no breath.
My life is fading, but some people still hold on.
My friends help me, to carry on.
Ill live today, and maybe tommorrow,
but while i live, i live in sorrow.
The voices get louder, why dont they shut up?
Stares grow colder, why dont they give up?
The edges of my mighty sheild, are slowly being chipped away,
My bare flesh shows, on my once armored arm, staring sadly, im falling apart.

Dark Devotion

Dark devotions,
burning strong,
Forces pulling,
to a world beyond,
Forever we seach,
for the thing we want dear,
but we never see,
that its quite so near

hey, those are really good! you have a gift for rhyme; I most certainly wouldn't call them insanity! keep it up, I look forward to more.

I like this one, it has some very good descriptions and at least for me it conveys a sense of helplessness...or maybe more of hopelessness.
