The Iraq War, also known as the Second Gulf War or the Occupation of Iraq, has been going on for quite some time.
The invasion of Iraq started March 20th, 2003.
It's been estimated that 1,220,580 people have died because of this war.
This is what I want to know from those of you who live neither in the US and Iraq:
What is your take on the war?
Do you think it was right to start a war based on the belief that weapons of mass destruction are being constructed?
Where do you stand in relation to the war? (on the fence, Iraq, America)
Also, I would very much appreciate it if someone who knew more about the war (crew member please) added info on it to my post.
Citizens of USA and Iraq are free to post here, but it is prefered that people from other nations reply.

Living in Canada.. we get a lot of bad talk about how Bush is a terrible president and almost every person you talk to would say he was stupid to start to go to war. To me i think this war is a bad thing. Bush has found nothing. no weapons, so he killed millions of people for no good reason. So im strongly against the iraq war.

Being a Democrat, I pretty much am against everything Bush is doing. He says he's taking the troops out of Iraq, but leaving some. Why not just take all of them back? Iraq is it's own country, they don't NEED out help. It's quite obvious they don't want us there so why let our troops die?

They dont want our help, why are the troops still there?
Its just a really bad problem now..
But arent the elections coming up? and Bush cant run again which is good ;]
I really dislike him... its just somethin about him that i just hate..

Yeah, elections are coming up. If I could vote, I'd vote for Barack Obama or Hilary Clinton.

I think it's pretty close.
I really haven't been paying attention to the presidential candidates lately like I should be so I'm not really sure.

Ill be watching the elections since Canada is greatly affected by who wins and all even though we arnt in U.S.A.

This war is stupid. It's just random people dying for stupid reasons. It's people killing people so they won't kill people with the weapons they "might" have because countries' leaders are to child-like and selfish to talk a problem out. Some little kid out there has no parents because why? They were looking for something that they don't even know exists.
