...After apparently climbing down the allmost infinite number of floors, or probably taking a short cut to the bottom, your prize primarily seems like a rest spot and is(as it would seem) the complete bottom of Library Island. A large spring lake is seen from one of the sides thanks to a waterfall, dont bother wondering where it comes from that cant be determined, looking up all that will meet you is the dank darkness from where you came before, a few of those large bookcases can be seen simply taking up space of the water. It really is a sight to behold...too bad it looks like there's no way out of here.

Came from library levels 4-9 Entry # 00039 By the time he gets there, he's panting and wheezing. "Man." Sorce breathes as he uses his staff to support himself. "I really need to get into shape..""

Once again, the voice boomed out across the enormous expanse of the room.
"Welcome. I see you've chosen your path... Well, I am not one to challenge such reckless foolishness. But, seeing as you have come, I should at least grace you with my presence..."
A shimmering orb appeared out in the middle of the lake, floating about 15 feet in the air, some hundred yards away from Sorce. It evaporates, revealing a figure, obscured by a large cloak, with star patterns shimmering across it.
"Well now... Won't you bestow upon me, you who are about to die, with your name?"

The specter did not speak for a moment. Then-
"My, my... That was unexpected. Amusing...
He laughed.
"Interesting conclusion you've come to... But you're a bit off. I am afraid you have guessed wrong. I did encounter Negi Springfield once... But really, I rather take insult to being compared to trash like him."

Zero ran as fast as he could towards the underground library. When he reached the place, he saw Sorce-san and the unknown mage standing, each waiting for the other to make the first move.
"Eh...sorry for arriving so late. I guess I fell into a self-induced hallucination..." Zero said as he laughed his previous mistake off while hiding the shame of what he had did earlier.
That's why the enemy mage didn't retaliate, or even reacted for that matter for he attacked a stone statue. He didn't realize it earlier for he was too excited to care about anything else rather than fighting and didn't realize that the enemy was communicating through telepathy.
"I guess it must be those five twinkies I ate earlier...hehehehe..." sweatdrop

"I guess i jumped to conclusions about this threat. but there is nothing to worry about. In fact, i think it's time to take you medicine."
and with that, he released a spray of needles hitting everyone in the party 5 times.
now we should be ready.

Be thankful, these needles are coated with the same chemical i used on sorce earlier. you should be able to hear each others thoughts now.

"Huh!? What's happening to...me?..." Zero shouted out as his eyes began to glow red and a strange symbol appeared in the palm of his hands indicating that he was about to enter 'battle mode'. As soon as the symbol on both his palms materialized, his body let out a burst of energy which filled the entire area.
Everyone just obseved at what was happening to the young boy. Sorce-san looked worried and Areshanderu-san just watched without showing the least amount of emotion, as if he actually knew what's going to happen next. The mysterious mage stood yonder, it seemed like he was actually enjoying the things that were going on before him.
"Am I...in battle mode?...How?...Why?" Zero looked at Areshanderu-san who stared back at him. Zero could tell that Areshanderu-san was grinning, even if it's only a little one.
"So, this is the power boost that Sorce-san was talking about eh..." Zero said as he was looking at the mysterious symbols on both his hands. He clenched his fists, looked at the enemy mage who gave him a smug look. He grinned evilly, knowing that he could fight for real this time; and what's more is that his power has increased exponentially due to Areshanderu-san's magic needles.
"Thanks Areshanderu-san, now we can beat this guy to a bloody pulp" Zero said in his mind, knowing that Areshanderu-san and Sorce-san would hear it.
"Alright, let's begin the first act of this play, shall we? To your places everyone..." Zero excalimed and went into his battle stance along with everyone who also went into their own battle stances. Another powerful surge of energy eminated from Zero's body, and as if acting along with his body's release of adrenaline, intensified so much so that it seemed like a mini typhoon deep underground.
"Alright guys, it's showtime. Three...two...one...ACTION!"

Entry # 00041 Sorce winced at the needles. He mentally glared at Areshanderu-san. Damn it man! You're a mage! Can't you think of a less painful way to release your potions! Another thought came to him. Are you SURE these things don't have side-effects? Possibility of dangerous overdose? It won't turn me into a girl?

"We can worry about that later, Sorce-san. Our main priority now is to stay alive, rescue Ren-san, and kick some serious evil mage butt!" Zero said as Sorce-san looked a bit worried.
"Look Sorce-san, I've been injected with it too. If you turn into a girl, you're not alone. And being a girl isn't half that bad, you know. You'll have the power to manipulate men and have them do your bidding!" Zero laughed and turned his towards the enemy mage.
"C'mon Sorce-san!"

Entry # 00042 "Allow me to go first, then," Sorce muttered, gripping his staff. " Electro Arcana! Puniceus Larua Fulgurales Furor! Crimson Demon Lightning Fury!" At these words, he directed the spell into the lake just as thousands of random, barely controlled, crimson infernal lightning lashed out into the water. The result was instantaneous as the water instantly exploded, the water molecules flashing into steam and hopefully plasma right under the enemy mage. The shockwave nearly knocked the three back. Sorce allowed himself a grim smile. "Just because I'm a geek and a bookworm doesn't mean I don't have teeth!" scream

Zero watched the fireworks from behind, standing with his hands crossed and energy eminating from his body. He smirked a little, amused at what Sorce-san did.
"So, all those time spent reading boring magic journals and thick mage spell books didn't go to waste after all." Zero said while approaching Sorce-san from behind. He patted him on the back and asked him to step aside a little. He then began chanting a spell...
"Patefacio Signum of Vox..."
"O regina of glacies , gelu etiamnunc decorus , suscitatio ex vestri dormio parumper hethen est intus os. Tribuo macies inimicus a nunquam ending pluvia of razor acer snow! Icicle Pluvia!"
As soon as Zero finished chanting the spell, the whole area was filled with dark clouds. From the dark clouds, descended countless razor-sharp icicles which were headed straight for the enemy mage. The figure was bombarded by icicles for six seconds until Zero chanted another spell...
"Dissapear amo snow. Exsisto seputus per snow. Glacialis Tumbus!"
And the place where the icicles struck exploded. Zero grinned, feelong proud that he did a significant amount of damage to the enemy."

Entry # 00043 " Electro Arcana! Opis Sursum!" Sorce cried, casting the spell on Zero. Immediately, arcs of lightning seemed to cover his body, leaping up and down his limbs. The other boy stared down at himself in surprise. "It's my personal power up spell," Sorce quickly explained. "It provides enhanced reflexes, reaction time, accelerated thinking speed, and increased movement. The latter is directly proportional to your body's condition. I'm a weakling, but under that spell I can clock in at 150 kilometers per hour. You're probably better. It won't do much for your strength and defense though-- five percent boost, eight tops-- but I don't think you'll need it." A grin. "Now show that loser that 'zero' doesn't mean 'nothing'."
