Factual: Something that is real - historical
Fiction: Something that is possible but not real - yet
I just got through watching a special a little while ago about the advancements that are like "Star Trek" gizmos. I also saw some stuff on NASA's research to make a toilet that worked in space and never realized the first astronauts had to "go" in their suits! I guess I just never thought of the practical side to that.
What is more important to the future? Facts or fiction

i think both are too important for everyone. people need to know the truth since it helps them see whats in front of them. then again not everyone should know the truth because people can throw everything out of proportion.

Gee, this reminded me of the thread I created once upon a time.
I voted facts cuz they can be useful most of the times. Especially if you're a ninja and want to infiltrate an enemy's stronghold. mrgreen

Haven't you seen Naruto? One of the older ninja in charge of the exams tells them how misinformation can be even more fatal than no information at all so, if ninja discover some fictional documents on their enemies, it can lead to their doom but, if they can see through deception and discover the facts, they can be the winners. 3nodding

i dont like certain animes that everyone else like for that reason. sall fan bases are fine but large are difficult because then you meet the crazy people who want to correct you on everything and wear the headbands even in the shower.
i saw a guy in highschool that used to wear the head band and never too it off so it was really dirty. he even wore it to sleep so it was gross.
but the fans also spoil so much of the series.

I hear ya, but that's not enough reason for me NOT to be a fan of something. I can imagine the lengths some CV fans go to but you don't see me hanging out anywhere near them. That's probably a good reason to stay away from conventions, he-he. I may be a fan of something but I don't take things too far. wink

Gee, that sucks! Maybe you should get one of those cell phones with a cam in them. That's what my mom did! We can take pics again! Her previous camera broke down btw...
