i noticed how a bunch of people like videogames and we were starting to use the tell your story thread for talking bout various videogames that we play...
so im putting this here so that hopefully it will move in biggrin
so we already know we have alot of FF fans in here.. what other games do you guys like? mrgreen

There is a lot of different games I like. The Sims was my original addiction even though video/computer games have intrigued me since playing Eliza on our computer that had a tape deck for a hard drive. I'm equally if not more addicted to Sims 2 and curious what they will do with Sims 3.
Others on my favorite's list: Animal Crossing, Harvest Moon (Wonderful Life & Magic Melody are the one's I've played), Chibi Robo, TONS of Mario games from 64 & up (especially Sunshine and Paper Mario), Wario Ware, Wind Waker and the newest Zelda, Jetset Radio Future, Knights of the Old Republic 1 & 2, Jade Empire, Pokemon Pearl, and Morrowind. At least that's the ones I can remember at the moment.
Playing video games is like watching cartoons, you can just never get enough. rofl

I love the Mana series! They are by far my favorite. smile Even this last one! I don't care what people say about it > razz I just got into Magna Carta too. smile thats a great one to play. I'm still looking into War Of Genesis III though. ^^

I just picked up a DS today, and I'm really liking Pokémon Diamond so far. My favorite game of all time, though, is Black & White. I think my other favorites are probably Super Smash Brothers, The Sims, Quake (especially III: Arena), Half-Life, and Alpha Centauri.
EDIT: Oh, I forgot, I looove Yoshi's Story and Kirby and anything cute and ridiculous like that!

I like way too many games that encompass rpgs, racing games, and occasionally a fighting game or two. Some of my favorites that I can remember right now are:
-Final fantasy (of course)
-Xenosaga (that was more like a phase, I started getting bored with the second one but I still absolutely LOVE(!!!) everything about KOS-MOS.
-Star Ocean
-.Hack
-Chrono Cross
-probably like dozens of others that I can't remember right now. xd
I have to admit that usually the first thing that attracts me to a game are the costumes for the characters and the way they're drawn. But if it looks like a game doens't have a good story, I probably won't play it, no matter how pretty it is.
On the other hand I find the recent more focused attention to in game graphics to be a bit annoying. They keep trying to pack in these meticulous highly detailed graphics and then theres no room left for good gameplay and story. BLAH!!! mad

OH OH OH ME ME ME I love FF tehe! 8 is my favie and I'm sticking to it lol
Resident Evil series is another of my favies and of course you can't forget Zelda! I'm desgining a tattoo with all three of my favorite games: Squall, Link, and I decided on the very first scene in RE1 where the zombie turns his head and its that sideview tehe!
Lets see I also thought Eternal Darkness was good, Haunting Ground was ok, I enjoyed Grandi 2 when I had it lol The first one made me angry. Super Mario 64, Banjo Kazooie (that game makes me laugh) Top Gear Rally (the only racing game I got addicted to) Geez what else...there are so many! lol Hotel Dusk for the DS was really good, I enjoyed Golden Sun too for the advance. Um Um Um...I cant even remember them all lol
I can tell you one game I wasnt super impressed with...wait 2...lol Indigo Prophecy and Shadow Gate 64...that game was impossible.

im an old school person biggrin NES, SNES, SEGA, a little bit of playstation games, alot of these new games i say are not as good as the older games i played for the longest time, my #1 fav has to be kirby from the nes version.....nightmare in dreamland i thinkn it was...... xp bad memory cant remember alot of names
