I installed Sims2 Bon Voyage and I lost my custem objects and my abiety to install new objects! I still have my skins, clothing, recolores and lots but all of my objects are gone and unreplaceable!

That sucks!
Maybe you computer had to delete some things to install BV. I know my computer did that once. Have you tried installing on the D drive?

Something similar happened to me. When I 1st loaded BVA on my PC all my custom content vanished. So I reclicked the "Enable Custom Content" in the settings, closed the game down... restarted my PC and hey presto it was all back up and running.
It IS a good idea to have a back up copy of all your downloaded custom content though. I've just recently burnt all mine onto a CD as I wouldn't know where to find half of it any more if I lost it.
