It is imperitive before every story to have a character sheet. A character sheet will help you organize, and detail every little aspect of the character being created. A CS usually consists of the following
Character Name: This is obviously your characters name
Role/ Purpose in Story: what is your character's purpose in your story?
Looks: Doesn't take a rocket scientist to know that this is what your character looks like.
Psychology: This is how your character thinks. How they look at life and the things surrounding them. You can all agree that naruto Uzumaki does NOT have the same pychology as Sephiroth in Final fantasy.
Background: What is the background story? What happened to them that makes them act the way they do?
Inner Need: This is what they need in life.
Flaw blocking need: This is the flaw that blocks their need
Quirks/ Imperfections: What is their imperfection? are they conceited? sarcastic? A true Dynamic character always has an imperfection that almost always gets in their way at the end. In other words a good and bad trait they have. Sometimes a bad trait can also be a good one. Take Naruto for example. A good and bad trait would be his will to never give up...It has gotten him out of jams time and time again and yet he's almost gotten killed time and time again.
Conscious Goal: what is their conscious goal? I.E Naruto's conscious goal would be becoming hokage.
Inner conflict: What is their inner conflict...a fight they are having with themself?
Outer conflict: an outer conflict.
Denoument: What is the resolution?
Realization: what is their realization?
Author's Note: any extra notes you have
There is a whole lot more to character sheets, but I have started you off with a basic one. I will post a mroe intricate CS as soon as possible. Good luck writing your stories and may they one day be published!
