As we know, Yukiru Sugisaki's Anime's and Mangas are frequently featured in Newtype Magazine. Unfortunately not all of us can get each new issue that comes out. (Wich BTW i suggest subscribing instead of buying the individual magazines. Simply because a subscription is $99 for 12 issues and each one spereately is $13 wich adds up to $130 at the end of the year.) So I have decided to start a thread and report all of the Sugisaki awesomeness that comes inside each issue. (sorry i wont be able to scan all the images, i dont think my poor old scanner can take it sweatdrop *pats scanner*)

Ill start with this month and if i have time ill maybe set up info on previous issues too.

This month DNAngel has two whole spread pages near the front of Newtype. The spreads look like this...

First spread summary (cause i cant tye up the whole thing, it would take too long sweatdrop ): As the Last few discs of the series in dubb are coming out, the story is winding up to the climax. The suspense is killing us! gonk (well not me cuz i have the whole series biggrin in hong kong sub crying )

Second spread sumary:This spread is mainly about the twins and their personalities, but mostly its about their love lifes. Riku's relationship with Daisuke is getting stronger (will he be able to tell Riku the truth?), while Risa's relationship with dark is not. Oh well, maybe in these hard lessons she will learn the error of her ways and become a better person in the end? *shrugs*

Near the middle/back of this issue there are interviews with Ryotaro Okiayu (Dark's Japanese sieyuu) and Akira Ishida (Satoshi's Japansese sieyuu) [and 8 other Japanese voice actors] in honor of newtype's 20th birthday! Yay Newtype! ^-^.

From Issues October 2004 to July 2005, Newtype has featured Yukiru Sugisaki's manga "Lagoon Engeine Einstatz". Unfortunately for us they have stopped featuring Einstatz and are now featuring "Evangelion: Angelic Days". (Ill probably do research and set up a seperate thread revealing information about einstatz someday in the near future)

In the Manga feature section of newtype there is a small article about Sugisaki's manga "Rizelmine". (I was gonna scan the article cause its so small but my scanner is being mean and old and broken agian crying )The article talks about the basic storyline and features a few scans from the manga. (for a good summary you should go see choshi's Rizelmine thread sweatdrop . im sorry but im not very good with summaries.)

Its got a lot of great stuff in each issue. Theres something in there for whatever type of anime you're into. Its deffinetly worth its price. xd

I know its been replaced (thats why i posted it above) it really sucks though, I mean Einstatz is confusing and hard to understand, but it was still awesome.

Im not sure if its legal to do that. but rule of thumb, if you have to question its legality, its probably not legal. I hear that Einstatz will be turned into a normal manga soon though, so you wont have to scan the pages.

Yep, it sure looks that way. Theres a user named Krad Hikari whos the krad version of this layout, it was really funny when we used to rp together. xd

Thats okay, just as long as it comes back on track... Newtype is awesome! There, its on track again biggrin

Well the newest issue has come out! YAAY! biggrin

But unfortunately for us, absolutely nothing of Yukiru Sugisaki's wokrs! gonk Not even a notice on when DNAngel vol11 comes out in Japan gonk . There have been rumors that its already out, and I have seen the book cover in an e-bay auction (the auction is most likely to be a scam), but if it really was coming out then there would be at least a small article about it in the Japan Now:Manga section since its so popular in the US now. *sigh* (if anyone does have some hard evidence on the release date, im sure everyone would appreciate some info and maybe a link to a website for further proof)

Most of this issue is covering all the wonderful new lisences that were released in July. Theres even an article about AX05! I met most of the cosplayers featured there! Ill bet they are happy to see themselves in this months issue ^-^.

Yeah ive heard some people say it came out AUG 10, but id still like to see an article or something saying its offcially out. that would be cool.
