Ninjutsu: Lightning Armor (Raigeki no Yoroi) - By using chakra control and spinning his sword, Raiu can use this jutsu to surround himself with electricity. The intense electric field protects him by electrocuting anyone who makes contact with it, but only works for one attack.
Lightning Ball (Raikyu) - By gathering chakra in his left palm, Raiu can create a ball of electrical energy and launch it at the enemy.
Great Lightning Ball (Oraikyu) - Simply a larger form of Raikyu. This attack his used with both hands instead of one.
Lightning Ball Barrage (Raikyu Senbon) - Numberous balls of lightning comes out of the chosen palm(s).
Lightning Blade Current (Raikiri Nagashi) - A variant of the Lightning Blade. This jutsu allows Raiu to produce a Raikiri effect around his entire body, instead of just his hand. The energy can be channeled anywhere, allowing Raiu to enhance his attacks with Raikiri energy. Because it is channeled throughout his entire body and not concentrated, the energy will only cause temporary paralysis instead of killing an opponent. Raiu can also channel the energy through his Katana, increasing its overall strength and cutting power.
Lightning Blade Flash (Raikiri Issen) - Raiu's Raikiri is charged with much more chakra than usual, making it so bright that it is difficult to look at, and he then attacks the victim with far more force (it scorches some of the surrounding area).
Lightning Clone (Rai Bunshin no Jutsu) - This technique allows the user to make a Shadow Clone infused with lightning. Because it is a Shadow Clone, it still shares the ability to interact with the environment due to it having physical substance and perform jutsu. If the clone is injured, it will revert into its natural lightning state. Like in other Lightning Element attacks, should the target come into contact with the electricity, they will be injured and temporarily paralyzed. It appears indistinguishable from the original.
Lightning Dragon Tornado (Rai Tatsumaki) - Raiu will raise his hand into the air and draw lightning down upon his body. The current will be contained within and around Raiu's form. He will then begin to spin in place forming a whirling vortex of wind and electricity. The vortex will take on the form of a dragon’s head and will cover the area in front of him. It will then strike out against his opponent and painfully trap them in the vortex. Even if the attack doesn't directly connect with his foe, the lightning can jump from the vortex to hit a nearby target.
Lightning Dragon (Rai Tatsu) - By manipulating lightning chakra into the dominante hand, the user make the lightning expand to can create the form of a Dragon. to attack his opponent from a distance. The lightning dog will still be connected to the user’s hand through a bolt of lightning. The user then manipulates the technique to attack the chosen target. Being a Lightning Release, it requires a lot of chakra from the user to maintain for a period of time and thus a risk to use with a low chakra supply.
Lightning Katana (Raikatana) - By manipulating lightning chakra into the dominate hand, the user makes the chakra take form of a katana. The Katana will instanely send large voltage through whatever it touches. Although it is forms from lightning chakra, it looks exactly like Raiu's normal Katana. The katana allows the user to project lightning slashes that can reach up to 2 miles. The released slash looks like the blade of a whitisj-blue pendulum.
Lightning Element; Flying Thunder God (Raiton; Hiraishin) - This technique lets the user summon lightning from the sky to their hand and then shoot it at their opponent. It is not to be confused with the Flying Thunder God Technique, a similarly named, yet entirely unrelated jutsu.
Lightning Element; Thunder Binding (Raiton; Kaminari Shibari) - This technique lets the user create a three sided wall of electricity to bind their opponent. The user must have three conductors to stick in the ground to create the points. Furthermore, once the enemy is inside, if they come into contact with the wall they will be electrocuted. The only way the jutsu can be broken is if an outside party were to strike one of the wall with a strong enough attack, which will then deactivate the other walls.
Lightning Body Flicker (Rai-Shunshin) - A variation the Body Flicker Technique. This jutsu is a high-speed movement technique, allowing a ninja to move short-long distances at an almost untraceable speed. To an observer, it appears as if the user has teleported. Raiu uses a small dozes of electricity to make after images with mass so those with Sharigan and Byakugan will have a hard time following.
Beast Human Clone (Jūjin Bunshin) - A modified version of a transformation technique, this allows a user to transfer their animal companion into a perfect copy of themself. Both the user and the animal assume a more beastial (almost lycanthropic) appearance, making it impossible to tell the two apart until the jutsu is broken, usually by damaging the animal, dispelling the transformation.
Body Replacement Technique (Kawarimi no Jutsu) - This is a technique that usually confuses the attacker. The user quickly switches places with another nearby object such as a plant (normally a section of a log), an animal, or even another person within reach, leaving the opponent open to a counter-attack. Explosive tags can be attached to the replacement for an added surprise. Fundamentally, all ninja know this technique, with a few exceptions.
Forced Sleep Technique Name (Tanuki Neiri no Jutsu) - Raiu forces a fake sleep upon himself so that he may rest after using "Man Beast Combination Transformation".
Man Beast Combination Transformation (Jinjū Konbi Henge) - Using a modified form of a Combination Transformation, Raiu and Ryujin fuses themselves together which results in a human with blue dragon scale and large dragon wings. Sometimes loses controls due lack of practice. needs to rest a very long time before battle. Leaves the user completely drained.
Lightning Element; False Darkness (Raiton: Gian) The user releases lightning from their mouth in the form of a katana that pierces through its targets. Can split in two to reach multiple enemies at once. This technique is only used when Raiu and Ryujin is fused.
Hiding Camouflage Technique (Meisaigakure no Jutsu) - This jutsu renders the user invisible to the naked eye, and can deplete their presence and smell. Abilities such as the Sharingan and the Byakugan can see through it.
God of Night Lightning (Yoraishin) - The user throws shurikens into the air. Upon impact on the ground, they dig themselves into the earth. When the opponent walks over the ground where the nails dug themselves in, two nails stab out of the earth through the feet of the opponent, ensuring that he cannot move. Then the user forms a hand seal, and hundreds of shurikens shoot out of the ground at the opponent.
Thunderbolt Strike (Raizō Ikazuchi wo Utte) - Using his swords, Raiu creates several thunderbolts that cut through the ground until they hit the enemy.
Lightning Dance of the Crescent Moon (Rai Mikazuki no Mai) - This jutsu creates three lightning shadow clones of the user, which attack along with the user in a complicated sword-dancing pattern to confuse the opponent.
Lightning Destruction (Ikazuchi Hakai) - The user places his hands to the ground after converting their chakra to lightning. The user then sends an enormous bolt of lightning that cuts through the ground towards the target. The shape of the bolt is a triangular figure with the base in front of the user and the tip headed towards the opponent. It causes devastating destruction on its way and generates with enough heat and power to destroy whatever it comes into contact with.
Genjutsu: Dispell - basic illusion technique that cancel others
Taijutsu: Raiken - Personal attack that allows the user to use any amount of electricity from their hands
Shadow of the Dancing Leaf - While the target is airborne, the user jumps in such a way as to appear below the target while following a similar trajectory through the air. Since the victim is airborne, he is in a vulnerable position to a more damaging attack

Lightning Blade Summon - This is not another variant of Lightning Blade. This is a "ninja tool summon" that, by sealing ninja tools like swords or kunai into it. Raiju uses this to conseal his shurikens, expolsive tags, and katana until they are needed. The ninja tools are thrown with the actual speed of a "flash of lightning," ruining the opponent's outset of the battle, and snatching away the initiative.
