It was so quiet. Easier to work and the teen with long black hair liked it that way. It's peaceful and makes work seem like play. Not that you could really call splashing paint to an canvass work. What Kohaku was paint was the school gounds that stood outside the windows outside her little slice of heaven in the Art room. "Crap, I got blue on the grassy area." She tried to remove the mark with the tip of her finger only to make it smudge more. She would just have to wait until it dried. However long that will take. She started to blow on it to make it go faster. Then she'd go over it with white and wait for that to dry. Painting wasn't a real fast hobby, but it was something to do.

Stephen wandered about, as usual, but this time for a good reason. Somebody had spilt water infront of their dorms, and him being the class president would be held responsible..so he thought he'd just take a stroll, not as if he's trying to cause someone else the trouble of having to clean it up or anything..that'd be ridiculous. "A year here..and I still constantly get lost." The light orange haired boy muttered as he started to walk towards it, not knowing where he was..plus completely oblivious to the fact that he seemed to pass a piece of art every few seconds only to see a girl blowing on a canvas, for some odd reason..it never computed in his mind that she might be trying to dry it off. So he quietly took a sea in the back of the room, one that caused an awful amount of squeaking. "...."

Kohaku heard the class president's steps before he even entered the room. She just chose to ignore it and continued to blow on her canvas. She tapped the smudge with her to find it had dried. Swriling her paint brush in her little cup of water only to be interupted by the squeaking of a chair. She turned head some to see Stephen trying to calm the chair's loud noises. "Come to watch paint dry?" She asked turning back to her painting and addeding white to the smudge. Clearing up the blue instintly.

"Yeah..I hear it's a choice hobby of the people around here." He replied with a slight smirk as he began to adjust the chair's legs. He somewhat absent-mindedly had missed that she was the only person in here, just Kohaku himself and the TV used for student broadcasts. It was probably a better choice to stay in here and keep low since that one guy had let it leak that he was a mage and he was with him..it should blow over eventually, but there seemed to be alot of magical students in this school, he slowly turned his head back to Kohaku..could she be one?..well he wouldnt know, he wasnt very talented at spotting magical powers...besides if she wasnt then he she sure wouldnt have heard that rumor yet. As if a smack across the face from god, the tv was cut on for a student broadcast. Across the bottom it said 'Is your fellow student a mage or just plain crazy.' With a girl talking about the even showing what had happened in the corner..the boy muttered some incantations then running off as the crowd turned to look at him. Stephen muttered something and lightly smacked himself on the head.

Kohaku blew on the white spot. She rolled her eyes at Stephen's comment on her hoddy. "Hn..." She didn't give an answer, but continued to blow on her canvas. "So what brings you here?" She asked, eyes not leaving the canvas. Ignoring the TV and the class Prez smacking himself on the head. Maybe he say a fly or something and hit himself on mistake. Whatever. None of her business either way. The white spot had dried and she could continue her picture.

He simply shrugged as an answer, finally done with 'fixing' the chair. Then gleaming at his accomplishment he leaned back in the chair, then started to move it about randomly testing it out, whilst looking completely foolish. "Just bored.." he yawned, "Its getting pretty late for anyone to be still in here..so why are you here?"

Kohaku moved her hand up and down to get in the right areas penciled in before she had started painting. "I don't like leaving things undone. Why? Am I breaking rules?" She asked shrugging and looked back at him from the corner of her eye. Then went back to her painting. "I should be done soon. Just the grass needs to be done..." She said with a nod, more towards herself than to him.

Stephen shrugged once again. "Who knows?" He answered with a rhetorical question, then set the seat back down and placed his elbow ontop. He lay his orang head on his palm and rested, he didnt know why he didnt just go back to his dorm..but either way he now quietly watched his means of entertainment for the time being.

Kohaku gave the painting it's last stroke and was finished. She yawned and looked at her final work. It was still missing something, but whatever. It looked fine the way it was. She took the canvas over to the drying rack. While walking she tripped and fell forward. Painting underneath her. She sat up and the undried paint was all over her uniform. On the canvas was a mix of the colors. "Oh..." She tilted it to get a better look at it. Everything was all smudged up. "It looks better this way..." She said in a monotone.

"Hn.." He raised his head slowly with a yawn, then wiped his eyes. His eyes fell upon the picture as she finished the last stroke. Then simply widened his eyes as she fell upon the picture. Her uniform was now ruined and probably the painting as well. Though it seemed she liked it..well he couldnt tell if she was lying or not due to her tone, he tilted his head as well..only to shrug. It was still just a painting to him..art wasnt his forte. Soon after he yawned and stood to begin walking towards the door.

Unwillingly she had become part of the picture. Kohaku sighed at that part. Now she had to clean her uniform. She looked over at Stephen who was walking away. Then pointed a finger to her uniform for and chanted a cleaning spell off in her head. The uniform was sweeped clean and she stood up. Hopefully Stephen hadn't seen. Not that she cared either way. If he found out she'd just question his sanity then be on her merry way. Putting her now bettered painting on the drying rack and yawning again.

Mizumaru stood in the far corner of the room leaning against the wall, his eyes fixed on Kohaku. "Why the worried look? It's not like the pres would care..." He pointed at the doorway Stephen had left through and made a gesture with his hand as if to imply that Stephen was a mage too.

"...." Stephen glanced back in the corner of his eye then closed them. The boy then yawned again as he placed his hand on the door frame, "I guess Ill see you tomorrow, Ekaki-chan." Artist, that would probably now end up being all that he called her for now on, it wasnt like he forgot her name or anything. Then abruptly wandered off into the darkness towards the boy dorm rooms, mentally hating the fact that his hair seemed to be noticable even in the dark. He hadnt noticed Mizumaru though..so not what he implied either.
((off to the dorms for him)) (( XD snitch ))

Kohaku looked in Mizumaru's direction then shrugged. "Ehh..Mizu-kun do I really seem worried?" She said as she watched Stephen give her a new nickname. She rolled her eyes to it. Surely that was what he was planing on calling her from now on. She waved Mizumaru goodbye then off to the dorms she went.
